Born: August 01, 2025 I currently weigh 6 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $600 Rusty may be tiny, but he has a huge heart just waiting for the right person to help it shine. This fully grown little guy came all the way from Louisiana in search of a brighter future, and now he's hoping to find the loving home he's always deserved. When you first meet Rusty, he can be a bit shy and reserved. New people and new places can feel overwhelming, but all he really needs is a little patience and a chance to feel safe. As his trust grows, so does his sweet personality. Before long, you'll discover a loving companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his favorite person, soaking up cuddles and sharing quiet moments together. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate little dog with so much love to give, Rusty is ready to start his next chapter. All he needs is someone to believe in him and give him the chance he's been waiting for. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
