🌊🐾 Meet Moana 🐾🌊
The Moana you may know from the movies set sail across the ocean on a journey of courage, discovery, and finding where she belonged.
Our Moana’s story began a little differently.
She hails from Kentucky, and honestly, we don’t know much about her life before rescue. What we do know is that she and her sister found themselves in need of help through one of our rescue partners. FairyTails stepped in and welcomed three dogs from that situation, including this sweet little girl.
At around 2 years old and 20 pounds, Moana is the perfect medium-sized companion. She has a beautiful tan coat, soulful brown eyes, and an adorable black muzzle that gives her a permanently thoughtful expression.
Unlike the fearless adventurer she was named after, our Moana is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She’s cautious, reserved, and taking her time getting comfortable in her new surroundings. As a newer arrival, we’re still getting to know her personality, but so far she seems like a girl who would likely prefer being the center of attention as an only dog.
Moana isn’t looking for someone to sail across the ocean with her. She’s looking for someone willing to take a chance on a dog whose story is still being written.
Someone patient.
Someone kind.
Someone who understands that trust takes time.
And let’s be honest… she’s pretty stinking cute. ❤️

All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you dewormed, fully vetted, spayed/neutered, dental exam, heart worm tested, flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventative, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, bathed and professionally groomed!
They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.
