Story
Xena was adopted around 2018 by my parents as a companion for their other dog Blue (also available for adoption) after the passing of my grandmother and blues emotional response to it. Since then Xena has been a wonderful family pet and companion for Blue and my parents. Since adopting Xena, my parents moved to Michigan in 2022. Where they have cared for both Xena and their other dog Blue (also looking for a home as previously mentioned), recently my father has become sick with an enlarged heart and blockage. He just had surgery and we have decided the dogs are too much for my parents to deal with along with his recovery. My mom is very torn about this as she wants the dogs to both go together but understands that may not be possible. We are located in Northern Michigan and for the right family can make the best arrangements. </p>

Story
Blue was adopted around 2014 by my parents for my nephew (who they raised) and his anxiety. Since then, Blue has been a wonderful family pet and companion, my nephew has graduated from high school and since moved out while my parents moved to Michigan. Since they moved here in 2022, they have cared for both Blue and their other dog Xena (also looking for a home), recently my father has become sick with an enlarged heart and blockage. He just had surgery, and we have decided it is too much for my parents to deal with the dogs along with his recovery. My mom is very torn about this as she wants the dogs to both go together but understands that may not be possible. We are in Northern Michigan and for the right family we can make the best arrangements. My parents are looking for a new owner who will provide a loving and safe environment and companionship for both dogs.
