Originally adopted to help comfort a teenager with anxiety, Blue spent years proving himself to be an incredible, intuitive companion.He is fully house-trained, up-to-date on shots, great with kids, and loves other dogs (no cats, please!).Why Blue needs a home: Due to a sudden medical crisis—his owner recently underwent major heart surgery—his family can no longer manage his care during a difficult recovery.Blue lives with his dog sister, Xena (also looking for a home). While we would love for them to be adopted together, Blue can be adopted on his own. We are in Northern Michigan and will coordinate the best arrangements for the right family. Could you be his next chapter?
