We have a hidden gem here that is officially available for adoption. She’s been on kennel rest the entire time she has been in her foster home due to a hip surgery she had. Her foster is still learning more about her personality now that she’s been fully released off crate rest. This is how her foster describes Nessa Marie: Pretty typical small dog attitude and a bit of a crackhead. I honestly think she would THRIVE as someone’s one and only as she’s very attached to me and prefers the others just ignore her existence. She will get snappy to set boundaries so if the other dog isn’t one to take well to that, she could get herself in a pickle. She requires a very secure fence as she tests my gate area of the fence every time we are outside, which quite honestly is offensive after all the care I’ve given her🤣🙄 Small dogs, man. (In Nessa's defense she was on crate rest for 8 weeks after her hip surgery & has recently been cleared for adoption). So, if you are a small dog lover or know any small dog lovers, send them on over my way. Nessa Marie is a 10 lb approximately 1 year old, seemingly a chiweenie. Nessa is current on vaccinations, HW negative, current on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Story
Tiny little chupacabra. Lolly is a sweet 10 yr old Chihuahua, but she looks a little like she's the mythical chupacabra! She's an easy little lap dog who likes to sit on your lap while watching TV. She is Housebroken, and great with other dogs. Although she does have allergies, and requires medication, she is a happy and healthy little girl. She have done allergy testing on her, and know what she needs to avoid. Lolly would do best in a relaxed home with someone who is retired or works from home. She wouldn't be happy away from her people for long periods. She will require a securely fenced yard, so an apartment wouldn't work well for her, and children aren't her favorite, so no kids under 12 for this little one please.  All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . We require all pets already in the home are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Zoy is16 years old.  This girl came to us from an elderly couple that could no longer care for her.  She is housetrained with a dog door.  She takes two heart meds twice a dsy. Meet Rumble: The Buffalo-Coated, Squeaky-Toy-Smuggling Senior Icon Are you emotionally stable, physically quick, and ready to share your life with a 9-pound nap enthusiast who sometimes acts like a cranky uncle? Then boy, do we have the dog for you. Rumble is an 11-year-old gentleman with the majestic coat of a miniature buffalo and the bladder of a nervous chihuahua at a fireworks show. He specializes in dramatic sighs, long naps, and Olympic-level lap lounging. His hobbies include: • Sneaking squeaky toys outside like a tiny, furry raccoon • Selective hearing • Looking offended when moved too quickly (see: “trauma”) • Ignoring cats like it’s his full-time job • Gracing other dogs with his dignified presence Important Note from Rumble:“I will nip if startled, surprised, or touched in a way I deem unacceptable. You won’t know the rules, but you’ll learn. Fast. I’m looking for a home with kind adults who have quick reflexes and slower lifestyles. No hitting. No kids. No drama. I want peace, routine, and maybe a cardigan-wearing roommate who drinks tea.” Rumble is potty pad trained and is currently considering the idea of peeing outside like the other dogs. He’s a work in progress, but he’s working hard (mostly on finding new places to nap). He’s not for everyone. But if you’re patient, gentle, and okay with the occasional nip from a tiny land hippo who’s seen some stuff, Rumble might just be your guy.
