Mollie is 3 years old a very loving and cuddly dog has been around children and my other dogs and loves playing with cats ( not trying to hurt them ) have had her since she was born all her siblings were able to be rehomed but no one chose Mollie. Sheldon is a very active boy who thrives in an active household. He loves to go on walks, hikes, and runs to burn off his energy! He would make a perfect adventure buddy!  Sheldon gets along well with the kids and dogs in his foster home, but it does take a little time for new people and animals to fully earn his trust. He is working with a trainer and is making progress!  Sheldon is potty trained, knows how to use a doggy door, knows his basic commands, and has worked well on a leash!  Sheldon is the last of our puppies that was rescued while being given away in a WalMart parking lot. Meet Cooper 🐶✨ Cooper is a 16-year-old Chihuahua gentleman with long legs and a distinguished look that regularly gets him mistaken for a tiny Italian Greyhound. He’s not trying to impress anyone — he just naturally has that “dapper old man at the café” energy. This sweet senior is simply looking for a soft place to land and someone to spend his golden years beside. He’ll come with his beloved bed and blankets, and he prefers to sleep right next to your bed rather than in it. He likes being close… just on his own terms. Cooper does have a small daily medication routine — pain and allergy meds plus an eye drop to keep his beautiful little galaxy eyes comfortable — and he takes it all like a polite gentleman. Despite his age, he still gets around well and is fully housebroken. He’s wonderful with both cats and dogs and has zero aggression toward anyone. Because he’s past the playful puppy stage, he’d do best in a calmer home (small kids just aren’t his thing), but what he lacks in zoomies he more than makes up for in quiet companionship. Cooper isn’t asking for adventures — just a cozy home, a warm spot nearby, and a person to love him through his retirement era. And in return, you’ll get the sweetest, most loyal little shadow you could ask for. 💛

Story
Meet Corky! He is an almost 12 year old, 12 lb. chihuahua mix looking for his forever retirement home! Corky was adopted from us a few years ago and recently came back to us after his owner passed away. He spent a lot of time with his owner, just the two of them, and he deserves to have someone to love and cherish him again. Corky is an independent guy but shows his friendly side, especially if there is food involved! He enjoys having his ears rubbed and head scratched. He even handles pets from his foster family's grandkids well! He isn't super snuggly but with time, we hope he will open up with the right person or family. Despite his senior status, Corky still has some cute zoomies and playful moments that will make you smile. He is house trained but would likely benefit from wearing a belly band for a little while when moving into a new home to help avoid marking until he adjusts to a new space and smells. He currently lives with other dog and while they get along, he does go out of his way to avoid her and keeps to his own space. He may do fine with another dog in the home but we think he would likely be happiest as your only furry family member. He hasn't lived with cats but may do just fine with a cat that will happily give him space. Corky enjoys his crate and likes to hang out in it and nap during the day. He currently sleeps in his crate an night also. He is an overall quiet guy and doesn't bark much at all in his foster home. This little guy does have some hearing and vision impairment but navigates his foster home well. He does have some arthritis and spinal fusion and takes two medications to help with pain (10 mg galliprant once per day and 50mg gabapentin twice per day, about $50/month). Common for smaller older dogs, he does have a heart murmur but doesn't show any enlargement of the heart at this time and doesn't currently need any medication to help manage that but may in the future. This good boy's photos may look a little sad but he's a happy boy with a lot of life and love left to spend with a family of his own.
