Story
This is Buddy Roe — our family’s gentle, loving mixed-breed boy who has brought so much comfort and joy into my grandmother’s life. Buddy’s story has always been about second chances. We first got him from a family friend who wasn’t able to care for him anymore. Around the same time, my grandmother had just lost her previous dog to old age — a heartbreak that left her home feeling quiet and empty. Bringing Buddy Roe into her life felt like the perfect match. He filled her days with warmth, companionship, and the kind of unconditional love only a dog can give. But now, with her health declining, she’s no longer able to keep up with his needs. It’s been incredibly hard for her, and for all of us, but we know the most loving thing we can do is find Buddy Roe a home where he can stay happy, active, and well cared for. Rink is around 2 years old. He belonged to my Uncle who left my Aunt with Rink. Unfortunately my Aunt is now in frail care and can no longer take care of him. He is a smart dog, listens well when corrected. Eager to please and craves attention. We are working with him to access all his characteristics and will continue to update his profile as we obtain more insight to him. He is scheduled to be neutered on Dec 8. He is current on his vaccinations and is heart worm negative. Please stay dialed in for updates on this sweet pup.
