Story
Hurley is a sweet girl and eager to please. She is a 44 pound cuddle bug who has been spayed and up to date on vaccines. She was saved from a high kill shelter last minute. She is still learning how to be a dog but is a really fast learner. She is currently being fostered living in a home with other dogs and cats and doing great with both. She has not been tested with children yet. She is slightly dog selective and introductions to the whole family is a MUST before adoption. She can be an only dog, but she would do much better with another dog in the house. She is a medium energy dog and is more of a people dog. She prefers to play with people but likes to play with dogs who can read her body language. She loves to cuddle with you on the couch or in bed. She is more weary of men initially, but given some time, she will love them too. She is housebroken, kennel trained, walks well on a leash. She is very smart and already knows few basic commands and is eager to learn more!

Story
Ares was found abandoned on the side of a country road. He's a little over a year old now, but we are a military family getting reassigned overseas and cannot bring him with us. He was raised in a house with another dog and 5 cats and has been an awesome friend, however, he is very scared about meeting new people, dogs and younger kids. He would probably fit best in a home without young children and other dogs.Hoping to find him a good home. He weights approximately 40lbs at last vet check. Up to date on all shots, microchipped and neutered.

Story
Nally was surrendered to us after her owner couldn't take care of here (we live in a farm area) and we agreed to take care of her while she finished with her puppies and then rehome her. She is ready for her new home! Nally is a super active dog, and will do best where she can run and play to her leisure. She gets along well with our other dogs (we have 3), but she's not to keen on the cat or chickens. She is crate trained, and potty trained and knows sit. She must be on leash as her recall is not great. She was allowed to roam free at her previous home. She is underweight, as she was half starved when we got her, and she loves all things food. She would do best with a family who is patient and can help her understand she won't ever be starved again. She has been to the vet and is healthy. Nala loves couch cuddles and her bone, playing with her doggo friends, and sleeping on a comfy blanket.

Story
Tasi is a 5 year old, neutered island dog rescued from Timor-Leste. He loves to play in the water, go exploring on walks, and chew on a plastic water bottle before sleeping on his back up against a wall. He loves being with his human and will do anything from play dead to dance to get one of his favorite treats. He's wonderful with guests and kids, is a fan of being carried around but still gets his daily zoomies. He's been attacked by bigger dogs before and doesn't want to be in a multi-dog household. He's pretty sure cats are best for playing chase, so they shouldn't be in the home either. He's demonstrated escape artist so a home will a tall, well-maintained fence would also be ideal. Hes looking for a loving family that wants doggy kisses for life and a playful companion. He wants someone who will keep him safe from scary storms, is patient with him, and happy to give him free rein of the house.

Story
Fate was rescued from the streets in January, 2022. He was diagnosed with heartworm shortly after being taken in, which was successfully treated over the remainder of the year. Fate is an extremely loving dog who loves socializing with people, snuggling, and going on walks to explore new areas. He gets along with people of all ages and genders with no known history of aggression towards humans. I have another rescue dog that has turned out to be high needs and reactive. As the two dogs do not get along and I want both to have full and happy lives, I am looking to rehome Fate as I know he will be able to successfully adjust to a new loving family. Fate has a history of some fights with other large dogs (including my reactive dog and a few at the dog park). This has always been initiated by the other dog in the situation and has never resulted in any major injuries. Fate cannot go to a home with small animals due to a high prey drive. (ex. cats, rabbits, reptiles, ect).

Story
Meet Jimmy. We rescued him when a friend found him and another dog abandoned, mistreated and malnourished. We took him in and got him the care he needed. He is around a year old, current on vaccinations; has been neutered, and is housebroken. Jimmy is an energetic, playful boy and needs someone who can take him on walks and play with him to help him burn off some of that energy. He does chew, so he will need access to durable toys. If he has toys, that usually deters him from chewing other things. He plays well with other dogs and has been exposed to cats. He’s learned to coexist with cats and doesn’t hurt them, but he does occasionally bark at them and would likely be better off in a home with no cats. He is also great with kids. I have children that he plays and snuggles with and we’ve never had an incident. He is a big cuddle bug and sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog.

Story
Meet Jey! We rescued him and another dog when a friend found them abandoned with signs of mistreatment. We took him in and got him the treatment he needed. He is current on his vaccinations, has been neutered, and is housebroken. He has some minor scarring on his neck from lacerations he had when he was found. Jey is a lazy boy. He is content with laying around and snuggling on the couch. He loves attention and getting belly rubs. He has chewed a bit in the past, but he mostly sticks to his chew toys. He is good around children, other dogs, and cats (though he will bark at them when he first meets them). Jey needs a home with lots of love to give.
