PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION... CANELA is currently in foster care in Houston, The adoption fee includes the transport by Mighty Mutt Shipping if interested there is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org This sweet little cubby chihuahua mix, her Dna test shows a mixture of 14 different breeds..she is approx 18 months and 22 lbs.. she loves to eat and needs to lose some weight She has a big personality and a lot of character , she loves to sleep on her fosters bed or in her doggie bed, she hides her nightly treats under her fosters pillow and the foster has to hunt for them before getting into her bed she gets along with all of the other rescues and seems to be pretty well house and leash trained and loves people she’s very much a couch potato and a home with someone who can take her on walks and give her some exercise would be great she tested positive for heartworms and was treated with the AHS protocols, we find that the dogs usually test negative in 4 to 6 months, she is also on a monthly heartworm preventative.. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years.for our puppies. The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip., the interstate health certificate and transport. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at houstonshaggydogrescue.org

Please read the following informationTEDDY is in foster care in Houston, TexasThe adoption fee includes the transportation if interested there is an application on our websitehoustonshaggydogrescue.org Teddy is approx 3.5 yrs and 12 lbs ,his Dna test shows him to be a mixture of Chihuahua/Yorkie /Bichon and 3 other breeds...When we rescued him he was a matted mess and we had to shave him down, his coat has now grown back and he is such a pretty dog , he will need regular grooming.He loves to be a lap dog, he gets very excited and is always wanting to climb on his fosters lap, he gets along with most of the other dogs except the really active ones that get in his face and then he is not a happy camper .. he also likes to eat his food in peace and can get snappy with the other dogs if they try to eat his food ..we feel he would be better as an only dog or with an older quieter companionHe is fairly well house trained but not perfect , he does well on a leash and loves riding in the carhe is going to be a great companion for someoneThe adoption fee is $500We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.. and only to experienced dog owners.All of our dogs are spayed/neutered,microchipped , vaccines including Rabies,Dhpp,Bordatella and Canine Ingluenza and all are on monthly preventatives for Heartworms,Fleas/Ticks and ParasitesThere is an application on our website www.houstonshaggydogrescue.orgFOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK
