Story
Juno is 4 year old, and we adopted her from Brightside in 2022. She is the best cuddle buddy—she loves cozying up to us whether it be on the couch or in our bed. She's also very athletic. She's a good runner and can jump high, loves swimming, and taking walks. She absolutely loves people (sometimes too much) and plays well with other dogs as long as they are not a small breed. We need to rehome her to a house with no small children and no other dogs/pets. Though she loves both, she sometimes resource guards with them, which she doesn't do with adults. She also spooks easily with small children. Our toddler tripped and fell on top of Juno, and she air snapped and left superficial nail scratches on our toddler’s face. Though a bite did not occur, we want to take the utmost caution to keep both kids and dog safe.Juno started taking medicine for her anxiety after we brought our first child home. It's unclear if she'd need to keep taking them were she to live in a child-free home.

Story
Penny was brought to a SNIP clinic in San Felipe Mexico and abandoned. She was starving, had over 132 ticks taken off of her. She was dying. I took her home in SF, got her well, and we all loved her. She blossomed into a ever so sweet loving dog! She is so adorable and everyone loves her. Just look at that sweet face! She is a calm dog, but still about 10 months old so she loves to play. She is full grown about 30 lbs.Penny loves any kind of water and a nice grassy yard. She get excited to chase butterfly's and go on walks and does well off leash. Snuggling right next to us is one of her favorite things to do. She needs a home with a regular routine and would prefer to have another dog. However she loves her person and would do well as an only dog! She does best with a doggie door. She can stay in a crate and will not potty but it can't be for too long. She is will reward you with unconditional love! She really is the sweetest girl! Consider a meet and greet. You'll fall in love!
