I’m a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, just 10 pounds of sweetness with big soulful eyes that will melt your heart. I’m a gentle, loving little guy who wants nothing more than to cuddle and be your loyal shadow. I’ll follow you from room to room, always happiest when I can keep you in sight. I feel safest in a calm, quiet home with adults. I tend to bond more quickly with women, but with patience and kindness I can learn to trust men too. Once I know you, I settle right in and show you all my affection. I’m working hard on my house training, and my foster mom says I’m doing really well with going outside. I’d love someone who’s home part of the day to keep helping me along. I get along nicely with other dogs and cats, and I can stay in a crate for a few hours when needed. Leash walking is something I’m still building confidence with, so I’ll need a patient person to help me practice. But I do enjoy car rides and travel calmly in a crate. At night, I sleep quietly in a crate too—but if you let me, I’d much rather curl up in a big bed beside you. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
