Story
Ranger is a 1.5-year-old neutered male who was rescued as a puppy along with his siblings. He has a sweet, gentle personality and tends to be on the shy side at first, but he loves affection once he warms up. He enjoys pets and companionship, especially with calm, patient people. Ranger is being rehomed because his current home is becoming busier with a new baby, and it’s more activity than he’s comfortable with. He would thrive in a quieter household where he can relax and build confidence. He tends to bond most easily with women and may take a little extra time to feel safe around men. Ranger is fully vaccinated, healthy, and ready to join a loving home. He would likely do well with a calm single person or a gentle retired couple who can give him the steady affection he deserves.

Story
I adopted brownie from GCHS 5 years ago when he was 1 year old. He’s now 6! When I adopted him he was very anxious and timid, he didn’t like car rides, going on walks, or strangers. That hasn’t changed much- he’s a couch potato that loves to be snuggled up or run around in the backyard only- still doesn’t love going on walks or strangers. He warms up faster to females rather than males. He doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats. He tolerates older children but gets very anxious with babies/toddlers. He’s very loving and cuddly but he doesn’t have severe separation anxiety, he will follow you around everywhere you go! He means well, he loves hard, he just needs extra care and attention when it comes to being around stranger, or with loud noises, or unfamiliar environments/conditions.
