Story
Say HI to Old Man Morty! Morty is a happy little guy who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap, demanding love, cuddles, and belly rubs—preferably while being cradled like the baby he believes he is. He’s not perfect—he’s got a bum eye—but that just adds to his charm. Morty is part of our Senior Sanctuary and is bonded to his best girl, Snow White. These two are a package deal and will be adopted together. While he’s safe with us, Morty would love nothing more than a home of his own to spend his golden years, right alongside the one he loves most. Adoption fees for bonded dogs are 2-for-1. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Story
Meet Gracie — the queen of all she surveys. 👑 Rescued from heartbreaking neglect, this sweet girl is finally getting the life she always deserved: soft beds, full bellies, and dog friends both big and small. During what was supposed to be a routine dental visit, the vet discovered Gracie had suffered a serious injury at some point in her past — a broken jaw. Thankfully, it’s an older injury and already healing, but it’s a painful reminder of just how much this little lady has endured. None of it has dimmed her spirit. Gracie is affectionate, devoted, and fully believes she belongs at the center of your universe. Her favorite place is cuddled in your lap or curled up right beside you, soaking up all the love she missed for far too long. Now, Gracie is living comfortably, safe at last, and ruling her kingdom exactly as she should. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Story
Banjo is a very beautiful dog. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. But he is also very shy and scared of strangers. He barks at anyone he doesnt know. It takes a while for him to get comfortable with new people. But once he does hes the sweetest boy. He has never shown any aggression whatsoever. He is just so scared of strangers. He is my dad's dog and my dad is very ill. Hes currently in a nursing home and wont be returning home. I cannot take Banjo as much as I wish I could. He's such a loving dog once he gets to know you. I want him to have a chance at finding a beautiful loving new family. His mother Wendy is also needing a home. Please give Banjo a chance. 🙏🏼
