Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Even very young puppies require guidance and supervision to learn how to become confident, well-mannered adult dogs. Puppies are not automatically trained simply because they are young. While we work hard to provide safety, care, and basic socialization, adopters should expect to continue all training and development after adoption.
