Due to circumstances beyond her control, her family made the difficult decision to surrender her to rescue. While it was a heartbreaking change, it also gave Roxy the opportunity to find a family that can offer her the lifelong stability, love, and commitment every dog deserves. Despite the transition, Roxy has remained the sweet, affectionate little girl she's always been. She has a gentle heart, a playful personality, and loves being around people. Whether she's joining you for a walk, playing with her favorite toys, or curling up beside you after a fun day, Roxy is happiest when she's spending time with the people she loves. She is friendly, social, and gets along wonderfully with children, other dogs, and even cats, making her an excellent fit for many different households. Her easygoing nature and loving personality allow her to make friends wherever she goes. As a Chihuahua / Rat Terrier Mix, Roxy combines the loyal devotion of the Chihuahua with the intelligence, curiosity, and playful spirit of the Rat Terrier.
