Story
Hey, my name is Kitsune! My friends at the shelter call me Kit Kit. I am house trained, crate trained, friendly to humans and walk nice on a leash. I am the whole package just ready for a new home. Chow Chow's have a reputaion for being nippy, but I am not a typical Chow Chow. I may get upset if you try to take away my food, but I am friendly and LOVE to get head scratches. I am a people kind of dog. I do have a sister, who I love, but other dogs may not be a good match for me and I am not a fan of cats. I am crate trained; I like to eat in my crate and I will go in a crate during the day and at bedtime (it is my safe place). I can get a little bit protective of my food, so eating in my crate helps me to relax. When it comes to chews, I prefer natural ones like hooves and ears. I'm not the biggest fan of toys right now. I am house broken and do really well with keeping my kennel clean at the shelter. I love food and my food motivation has helped me in my reactivity (to other dogs), while on walks. When I see other people, I like to talk to them. Sometimes when I am getting leashed to go outside I like to stand in between your legs to let you know that I would like some scratches. I also like to sit on your feet (to keep you close) so you can pet me. I really can't wait to meet you and show you how pretty I am and then you can hear me talk! Petting this girl is like feeling a puffy cloud, come try it out for yourself. If you are looking for a well behaved, relaxed, loving dog, Kitsune (Kit Kit) is the girl for you.
