I got her as a puppy, from a breeder in South Dakota. She's a princess!! She allows me to brush her, however she's not a fan of the groomer. She can be a lot with them.

Greetings...apparently my call sign here is Owl.... oh please, If you were going to name such a majestic creatute as myself after a mere bird I would think one might have gone with Andean Condor. 🦉Impressive 🦉Outstanding🦉Radiant. I'm all this and more. Personality? Oh yes. I've got one. I'm my own boss.Do you Chow? No? Well you should! Tell you about myself? Alrighty let's have a go- But I'm really something you need to experience in person. 🦉I'm dignified.🦉I'm regal.🦉I'm low maintenance.🦉I'm an easy walker. I float by your side.🦉I'm fairly easy going. 🦉I'm independent-not needy or clingy. 🦉I'm a mystery man. 🦉I loves da ladies. not so much those fellas -except Mr Animal Control man he's cool. 🦉I listen well.🦉I am patient.🦉I am a total gentleman. 🦉I'm quiet🦉unassuming.✋🚫I do not like the loud kennels. Those yappers get on my nerve. ✋🚫I do not like alot of shenanigans. 👀I don't make a lot of eye contact. Don't take it personally. It takes me a bit of time to connect and invest in our relationship. I can't be bought with treats- save your energy. I definitely want to negotiate terms of my release from this institution of reform and renewal ASAP.I'm looking for just the right person that can assist me in living my best life. I have a lot to offer. Serious inquiries only. Here are my contractual terms if you think you might be worthy of being my companion: ✋🚫1. Watch the hands. Go slow until I know you. I am not so big on those fast moving hands coming over my head. 2. Don't get clingy. If you want a jump-in-your-lap-lick-your face- relationship that's isle B. probably something named Honey blah blah. 3. I'll make you look good. Impress your friends. But I'm not going to neighborhood picnics. I prefer quiet solitary life. Special needs: will need brushed. To keep looking hot.59 pounds. Occupation:Security. I will secure the premises and observe the shenanigans from a comfortable distance away from those hooligans you consort with.Music interest: Enigma.🐕‍🦺Dogs: depends.🐈Cats: maybe. Interested in the action of outside cats. Can walk by inside cats. Will require on leash supervision and be guided to form positive relationships.Kids: if I must - older. 14+ I'm picky about who I let into my inner circle. Story
Muffy came into my life after her previous owner passed, and she’s proven to be one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I’ve ever known. While she’s shy at first, this loyal girl becomes a total lovebug once she trusts you. She’s very well-behaved, masters tricks like “spin” and “high-five,” and adores daily walks or hikes. Muffy would thrive in calm, quiet home with 1-2 adults who understand her cautious nature. She’d do best in a home without cats or small children. She could enjoy a home with another friendly dog if it is the right fit (she can be particular about other dogs but there are some that she really loves). A securely fenced yard is a must, as she loves being outside. Muffy’s heart is full of love; she just needs the right person to give her time and space to share it. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’ll repay your patience with endless devotion, Muffy is your girl.

The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
*hair blowing in the wind (even though she's indoors)* *unexplained sparkles in the air* *faint heavenly music* Yes, she is me. Chloe. Now that you are blinded by my beauty, let me explain why I am the absolute best girl on the inside too and so deserving of your (and everyone's) undivided adoration. I'm loyal, smart as a whip, and FUN, just to name a few. Unfortunately, I didn't come from the most glamorous beginnings. I was an outdoor doggy with not much interaction from birth and my family also left me behind when they moved. Thus, I wasn't really brought up interacting with you humans or being touched/handled. I've had my quirks while adjusting to being a family dog and will definitely need someone patient and understanding with me. (If you get too touchy right away, I don't like that and will try to protect myself.) However, if you are slow and gain my trust I will HANG on your every move. I have adjusted very quickly in the past with proper introductions to people. Even still, I would probably do best in a home without young children. I'm a lady after all and need time to sniff you out before you get grabby. I am an active girl and love to feel the wind in my hair outdoors too. I run with the speed of light and have a prey drive to sniff out bugs, lizards and more. I also love to play tug of war and fetch with my foster mommy inside. I bounce, bounce, bounce all the time! I am great on leash so walks and hikes would be great for me. Getting my energy out will help me focus on training too. I am very smart and learn quickly, but tend to lose interest if I'm still chock full of go, go, go!! With all of this perfection, all of your pet needs should be fulfilled, right? RIGHT? I hope so because I would do great as an only pet in the home. I have been able to co-exist with dogs at the rescue but I am a bit of a diva in my foster home. I have a domineering personality sometimes and will even mark like a male when I come across another dog's scent in my house. How dare they??? Existing? HERE? (She is otherwise house trained.) Considering that you and I know each other a little better now, you may pet me. Yes, I am very soft, I know. Please keep in mind that I am a Chow/shepherd mix and have hair that will require brushing, maybe even the occasional spa treatment, Swedish massage, 24k gold facials...yeahhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry! I forgot you were here. In all seriousness, once I trust you, I will allow you to brush me out without much fuss. It doesn't need to be daily but I am a rough and tumble kinda gal and can use help keeping my locks flowing and free. I also shed so if I seem to be losing my girlish figure, it's probably just extra hair that needs to be brushed off. I hope you have a strong vacuum. ;) I could go on for days about myself, but I'll stop here. Don't wanna overwhelm you. If you think you are up for the challenge of a total spitfire like me, please feel free to send in an application and foster mommy can tell you more about all of the grandeur that is...CHLOE.
