SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLYI am a full time traveling RVer I do not require Lily to be spade 30 days after adoption. It breaks my heart, but at 75 and living in a small RV, I can no longer adequately meet my energetic 9 month-old Chow mix Lily Belle’s needs.About Lily:• Beautiful Chow-like appearance with developing feathering coat (blows coat 1-2x/year, not heavy shedder)• Loving, affectionate, social butterfly, loves people and other dogs. • Intelligent, curious, playful — needs quality exercise, mental stimulation & continued positive training• Self-crates well, travels great in vehicle• Knows sit, down, stay, heel (4 weeks pro training)• Fully vaccinatedLike many Chows Lily has a prey drive so probably no catsIdeal Home: Experienced with Chows secure fenced yard and/or active lifestyle. Best with older kids she can play with. Rehoming includes Lily’s crate, toys, current food, heartworm & flea/tick meds. Small rehoming fee. Short questionnaire & references required.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet Prince!!  He is a 4-year-old, 53 lb Chow mix.  He is sweet, social and outgoing and also housebroken.  He loves the outdoors and car rides.  You'll get plenty of kisses and hugs from this Prince of a guy!  If interested, please fill out an application and come meet this beautiful sweet boy!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. October 24, 2026, 9:52 am

Story
💗 Name: Bandit 📅 Intake Date: 9/25/26 🎂 Birthday (DOB): 9/25/20 ✂️ Altered: Yes 🩺 Heartworm Status: Negative ⚖️ Weight: 88 lbs 🐾 Good with other dogs? Unknown 🐈 Good with cats? Unknown 👦 Good with kids? Unknown 🐕 Leash Trained? Yes 🏠 House Trained? Yes Bandit may have a name that sounds a little mischievous, but this Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is really more interested in being your shadow than anything else. With his solid black coat and warm brown eyes, he’s a striking guy who genuinely enjoys being around people. Bandit came to us as an owner surrender and is already a pretty polished housemate. He’s good on and off leash, crate trained, and potty trained. He’s also a strong boy, so his family should be comfortable handling a big, sturdy dog who can bring some muscle to the leash. At heart, Bandit is a loving guy who simply likes being part of the household. He’d fit right in with a family looking for a loyal companion who’s happy to stick close by. ------------- Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!
