Sage is a bold and intelligent mixed breed dog, with a heart of gold. She is affectionate and attentive, but also silly and independent. Sage had puppies with us, and one of the puppies had a DNA test done. We therefore know that she is a makeup of very many breeds, predominantly Pitbull and Chow. Sage is super duper clean, and very food motivated. She will fly through the air for as little as a kibble. Sage is a lot of fun to train, she follows a lure great, and knows commands like 'jump' 'down' and 'crawl'. Sage is dog selective, but leash reactive. She should be the only dog in her household. Sage is not getting any applications because she is ugly. She is a soft, snuggly dog who will make you laugh every day. She has humble expectations of what a great life is! He seems to know basic commands too! No dog loves every other dog, just as humans do not like every other human they meet. A proper introduction (meet and greet) would be required as part of our application process. IS THIS DOG GOOD WITH CHILDREN? The better question is how the children have been taught to handle animals. A dog will respond negatively if he/she is not being handled properly. We can offer suggestions on how to teach children to interact with dogs and pay attention to body language. Young children should never be left unsupervised with new dogs. Story
Ivanka is 4 y/o, was purchased at 8 weeks along with her littermate Lydia from a breeder. When my daughter became pregnant they fought daily so they were separated. Ivanka is food aggressive so was fed separate. The baby is allergic to dogs so Lydia has been rehomed. Ivanka doesn’t like the baby which is another reason I need to rehome her. Ivanka seems happier since she’s the only dog in the house. She is a chill dog but will bark at deer, and passerbys with their dogs. She likes to be outdoors but other than that watches TV and sleeps. She is skittish around other people. It will take more than one meet and greet for Ivanka to feel comfortable with you. If you are not familiar with chows and will not have the time for several meet and greets plz don’t respond., I do require references. It’s best for Ivanka to go to a home with a fenced yard. Ivanka loves belly and behind her ear rubs. She’d be a great dog for a single person or older couple. I love her and wish I could keep her.
