Story
You can call me "Honey" if you want, because I'm the one you want!Meet Honey 🍯 — Professional Side-Eye Giver, Handsome Poser & Certified Derpy Boy!Honey is an approximately 8-year-old Chow Chow/Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his personality. He is a top-tier snuggle expert who wants nothing more than to be touching his person at all times — lap? ✔️ arms? ✔️ couch cuddles? ✔️ inside your skin? Ideally, yes. When Honey loves you, he LOVES you. He’s a total couch potato, happiest lounging all day with his person and enjoying a short 10-minute stroll to stretch his legs. Any more than that and he’s ready to retire for the evening. Honey thrives on routine and follows his daily schedule like a pro. He’s crate trained, goes in happily with a treat, and is a rockstar when it comes to learning new skills.Honey is also a very expressive boy. He talks, groans, howls, and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions. He’ll let you know when he’s overwhelmed or unhappy — communication is his thing! If he’s right beside you, though, he’s content and quiet unless he needs something.Honey does have some quirks. He struggles with resource guarding and prefers not to share his favorite things, which means he’s looking for a dog-savvy home that understands boundaries and can continue working with him using positive reinforcement. Because of this, Honey would do best in a home without small children and may thrive as an only dog or with very careful management. He’s currently working with a trainer and is making progress — he just needs the right environment to shine.Despite his challenges, Honey is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. When he feels safe, he melts into pets, rolls over for belly rubs, and soaks up every ounce of love you’re willing to give.✨ Honey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and his adoption fee is $260.Think Honey could be your perfect snuggle companion?👉 Apply at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adoptSometimes the best love stories start with a little side eye and a whole lot of heart. 🍯💛 All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! The Coma Inducers Chow-Mix Puppy Litter This chow-mix litter was born in December. The puppies are currently 2 months old old and weigh approximately 5–7 pounds. Their mother is a chow mix and the father is unknown. They are active, playful puppies who interact well with people and each other. They have normal puppy energy levels and enjoy play, exploration, and handling. After activity, they settle easily and sleep deeply. They have typical energy for puppies, but they do have a good ability to rest once tired. They have ridiculously fluffy, soft coats. The black ones have perpetual bedhead. They love affection and cuddles. Physical traits: Butta Bottom (blonde female) has a typical chow-type coat and black spotting on her tongue, consistent with chow lineage. The three black puppies have wavier coats and pink tongues. All puppies have plush coats, small ears, and sturdy builds. The puppies love affection, but are content playing amongst themselves. They can get overly dramatic, but when you’re as gorgeous as they are it’s fair. They are developing appropriately and will benefit from continued socialization, routine, and basic training. They are not house trained. Puppies in the litter: Butta Bottom – blonde female, black spots on her tongue Cuz I’m Cozy – black male with white on his chest Chunkiest Chunky Bunny – black female with white on her chest Unfluffin’ Believable – all black female. These puppies are being fostered in the Cincinnati area. The adoption fee for each puppy is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
