Meet Frankie! He is around 1 year old, 60 lbs, a Chow/Husky mix, and ready to join his forever family! This guy is smart, sweet, and laid back. He is good around other dogs but does need a cat free home. He doesn't live in a foster home with kids but has done well with those he has met and would do well with children that know how to be respectful of their doggy friends. He can be shy of meeting new people but warms up and is a sweetie. That being said, this guy prefers the ladies. Men tend to make him uncomfortable and he would do best in a home without them. He has the cutest floppy zoomies and tires out quickly. He is crate trained and house trained and is doing well learning leash training. He also does great in the car. Frankie is all things young, happy dog and needs a home that will give him the patience and love he needs to adjust and learn. He enjoys being outside and would do best in a home with a yard to play in. He is an athletic guy and does need a privacy fence as he can climb chain link. Story
Stacy Dash is an approximately 2 year old 40lb red female Chow Chow. She was found after being hit by a car in Oklahoma City. This poor girl luxated her pelvis and suffered multiple other injuries. But Stacy doesn’t let that kill her spirit. She is still a very sweet girl. Stacy is completely potty and crate trained. She also does amazing on leash. Stacy will need a home as an only dog or with 1-2 doggy housemates who are her size. She won’t be your typical Chow who will run and jump all the time due to her potentially having life long orthopedic issues. Stacy really doesn’t mind since she’s accepted a position as couch potato and she’s damn good at it. She will be spayed later this month and she is current on vaccines and preventions. Stacy is heartworm negative and microchipped as well. This handsome guy is Steel. Steel is an approximately 18 month old male Pit Bull / Mastiff / Chow mix who weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued as a stray on the streets of OKC. Steel is a big-headed cutie. He is affectionate and sweet tempered. He has been around an 8 year old child and did very well. He is sensitive to everything going on around him and can get a little over excited, so Steel needs an owner who will be patient with him and allow him to calm down before meeting anyone (he jumps to greet them, but he is gentle and will correct easily). He is in a foster home with two small dogs who boss him around all the time. He would love another playful dog in the home, but he needs to meet all dogs in the home prior to adoption. He could be an only dog if included in activities and shown plenty of love and attention. Steel is crate, house and leash trained (but could use some work on his leash skills). We recommend a harness for more control since he is a very strong dog. Steel is neutered, current on vaccinations, current on HW preventative and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.
