Story
This sweet soul is Rascal, a 10 year old chow/husky mix who was surrendered to us due to no fault of his own. Rascal has lived his entire life with one family, and now he finds himself looking for a new forever family for his golden years! He is such a sweet boy, loves everyone he meets, and is so well behaved. He walks great on a leash, knows basic commands, is potty and crate trained, and gets along with other dogs. Rascal is an old man in dog years, and he deserves the most perfect home to spend his days cuddled up with people who love him! Here's what is foster has to say: "He's doing well. Two long walks a day. Very good with other neighborhood dogs. Has made friends with several dogs and humans. Not food motivated. Paw pads are old. Struggles with wood floors. Housebroken. Quiet unless he wants something. Loves balls and bully sticks. Drinks a lot of water. Likes watching squirrels but doesn't seem motivated to chase them. Is not a sun seeker." We promised Rascal that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Emmett (black) & Alice (tan) - silver pup already adopted Age: ~13-15 weeks Breed: Assuming lab/pit for emmett and chow/pit for Alice. Not 100% sure. Was told the mom was a “pure american bully” but that alone is not a breed and these dogs don’t look heavy bully to me overall plus bully breeds rarely have this small of litters (total litter size was 4). Then there is the fluffy one which just adds more confusion. They are ~19 lbs though and expected to weight 60-85 lbs grown so large sized. M/F: 1 M; 1 F (alice) Spayed/Neutered/Shots: have had 1st & 2nd round of dhpp/distemper, rabies, and been dewormed 3 times (including a heartworm prevention) - adoptee will be required to show proof of remaining vaccines and spay/neuter within appropriate time frame Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with everyone they have met so far Aggression or medical issues?: none House/crate trained?: good in crates; working on house training Additional info/story (personality): Emmett is the most hesitant of meeting new people currently but is very friendly once he warms up. Alice has the most sass of course and is always trying to steal the attention. Cannot leave them unattended outside as they do try to wander or escape under the fence to go explore more, but if out there they just want me attention and to play. Have not yet started leash training. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home and remaining vetting is completed.

Story
Geronimo is one of the 7 Alabama chows I rescued from the backyard breeder. 5 siblings have gone on to new loving homes and are thriving, his sister Ky (whom I have not listed) may never leave us....she only likes me. But, Geronimo, with the right home, will do well. Since I have had him I have not heard a bark, but I have heard a couple howls when the firetrucks go by. He is quiet, docile, and minds his own business. He is prime example of an aloof chow. I have scratched his back, pet him under his neck and he will follow me around the yard for treats occasionally.....but if he sees a leash, he is GONE in 2 seconds. SO>>>>>if there are any chow savvy people out there ready for a challenge, please let me know....Serious inquiries only. I want his next home to be his last home. Otherwise, he can just stay here until that happens. He is indifferent to dogs that are indifferent to him, but if a dog (my belgian mal mix) tries to fence fight and cause trouble, he will not back down. He will stand his ground. I do not have cats, but he lived on a property with Multiple cats in the past, and his siblings that have been adopted did great with cats in the home. I am assuming he will be fine with cats, but I can not guarantee. I would prefer an aduly home only for him, because he is not one that would appreciate being grabbed or tugged on. He is 4-5 years old.

Story
Location: West Columbia, SC Name: Kentucky Age: 11.5 months (DOB: 1/14/23) Breed: Lab (30%)/Chow (18%)/Mix - DNA results from sister in photos. He is around 60 lbs. M/F: Male Spayed/Neutered/Shots: yes - have had all puppy vaccines and been neutered Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with dogs and kids! can cat test upon request. Aggression or medical issues?: none - does bark quite a bit when I introduce new dogs to my house but never had any aggression towards them Reason for rehoming?: accidental litter - mom was fixed and returned back to owner once pups were old enough. This pup has still sadly yet to be able to find his home House/crate trained?: is house trained and did fine in the crate when I did crate him, but I honestly leave him out with no issues now when I leave (but he does have access to outside to potty as needed through a doggy door) Additional info/story (personality): Very friendly with everyone he has met. Is extremely shy at first and takes a bit to warm up which is why he is still here unfortunately as he is so shy about meeting new people and they don’t get to see him come out of his shell. I had him at the dog park last weekend for santa pics. It took us roughly 20 minutes to get him moving around and 2 hours in he was exploring more on his own. He didn’t get to the playful stage yet, but was making significant progress. Attaching some vids of him below to show him in full settled mode where he loves to play, be a couch potato, and so on. Also 10/10 loves ear scritches. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment.
