Story
Sami is the kind of girl who proves that age is just a number. She’s a little older, but you’d never know it—her eyes sparkle, her tail wags nonstop, and she greets every day like it’s the best one yet. She loves going for walks, getting all the pets she can handle, and flashing that trademark smile that melts hearts wherever she goes. She’s also got a little sass to her—Sami isn’t shy about letting other dogs know when she’s around food (a lady has to set boundaries!). Because of that, she’d be happiest as your one-and-only or with someone experienced who knows how to handle multi-dog households. Sami doesn’t jump or cause trouble, but she’s full of personality and charm. She’s the kind of companion who’d love to take charge of your household in the sweetest way possible. Adopt this lovely lady, and you’ll gain a loyal best friend who knows what she wants—love, walks, and a comfy spot by your side.

Story
Ravyn is a very friendly and loving dog. She absolutely loves animals and gets excited to meet new animal friends, whether it’s cats, dogs, or anything else. She loves being outside, especially chasing squirrels, and she enjoys playing with her people. She also loves a good bone and is very food motivated. At the same time, she can be calm too and enjoys laying around and relaxing with the family. She does have a stubborn side and can be difficult when it comes to listening and training. Even when she knows a command, she tends to only do things when she wants to rather than when she’s told. She can also whine or bark a lot if she’s not getting what she wants, especially if she sees something outside she wants to chase or play with.Overall, she’s a sweet, playful dog with a lot of personality and would do best with someone who has the patience and time to continue working with her training and energy.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.HW NegativeHandsome boy Yeti was DNA tested, and he is 86% Great Pyrenees, 5% Chow Chow, 5% Siberian Husky, and 4% German Shepherd.  Yeti's thick luxurious coat shows off his Siberian Husky side, with his subtle blondish Husky-like face mask, and his Chow Chow side, with a slight reddish blonde tint to his very thick dense Pyr coat. Yeti loves to jump, play and wrestle with his foster Husky pack too.  Sweet boy Yeti was known as Scruffy, way back in March of 2025, when he was at the City of Houston BARC shelter, since his coat was full of grass burrs, covered in car grease oil grime, his fur was so densely matted, plus he had multiple facial and bodily injuries, from his time on the streets.  After healing fully, and now being very healthy, while in GPAT foster care, Yeti is such a very handsome Pyr!  He's a petite Pyr boy, as he's a floofy smaller than expected Pyr mix, due to his breed mix, so he is just the perfect size Yeti for all of your adventures!  Adopt Yeti!  Adoption Criteria (Young Adult) 1. Texas Adopters, and out of state adopters will be considered on a case by case basis. 2. Adoption Fee: $375.00 (includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test). 3. We only adopt out companion dogs that will be considered part of the family and will be primarily inside dogs.   4. Preference is for applicants to have some knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Specific information about the breed will be shared during the interview/virtual home visit.  5. Secure and visible fencing is required. In a very few cases, fencing options will be considered based on the specific needs of a particular dog.  6. Preference is for applicants willing to provide "positive" training to adopted dogs. 7. All current pets in adoptive homes should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 16, 2026, 1:32 pm
