I’m a shy young dog who likes to take my time getting comfortable. I might hang back at first, just watching and making sure everything feels safe. But once I trust you, I start to show my softer side — the one that enjoys gentle attention, staying close, and being part of a calm, steady routine. I’ve got a “little lion” heart — not loud or fierce, just loyal, sensitive, and looking for someone to feel safe with. With patience, kindness, and a little encouragement, I’ll keep growing more confident and let my personality shine. Lionel can do well with other dogs when given slow, proper introductions. A calm, respectful canine companion could help him continue building confidence at his own pace. We recommend thoughtful introductions and allowing him time to adjust comfortably. Lucas Ray Jackson here! This gorgeous floofball is a charmer! He has many hours greeting people in medical clinics and nursing homes, always bringing a smile! He is looking for a fenced yard so he can sunbathe without the pressure to chase cars and dogs going by. He is reactive on a leash when he sees other dogs, so a strong owner who knows how to work with that is best. He listens to strong commands esp when his full name is used, lol. He lives in a foster home with many other dogs but his personal choice would be a home of his own so he doesnt have to tolerate dogs with dominant or high energy behaviors around him… he would prefer to just chill!
