Story
*hair blowing in the wind (even though she's indoors)* *unexplained sparkles in the air* *faint heavenly music* Yes, she is me. Chloe. Now that you are blinded by my beauty, let me explain why I am the absolute best girl on the inside too and so deserving of your (and everyone's) undivided adoration. I'm loyal, smart as a whip, and FUN, just to name a few. Unfortunately, I didn't come from the most glamorous beginnings. I was an outdoor doggy with not much interaction from birth and my family also left me behind when they moved. Thus, I wasn't really brought up interacting with you humans or being touched/handled. I've had my quirks while adjusting to being a family dog and will definitely need someone patient and understanding with me. (If you get too touchy right away, I don't like that and will try to protect myself.) However, if you are slow and gain my trust I will HANG on your every move. I have adjusted very quickly in the past with proper introductions to people. Even still, I would probably do best in a home without young children. I'm a lady after all and need time to sniff you out before you get grabby. I am an active girl and love to feel the wind in my hair outdoors too. I run with the speed of light and have a prey drive to sniff out bugs, lizards and more. I also love to play tug of war and fetch with my foster mommy inside. I bounce, bounce, bounce all the time! I am great on leash so walks and hikes would be great for me. Getting my energy out will help me focus on training too. I am very smart and learn quickly, but tend to lose interest if I'm still chock full of go, go, go!! With all of this perfection, all of your pet needs should be fulfilled, right? RIGHT? I hope so because I would do great as an only pet in the home. I have been able to co-exist with dogs at the rescue but I am a bit of a diva in my foster home. I have a domineering personality sometimes and will even mark like a male when I come across another dog's scent in my house. How dare they??? Existing? HERE? (She is otherwise house trained.) Considering that you and I know each other a little better now, you may pet me. Yes, I am very soft, I know. Please keep in mind that I am a Chow/shepherd mix and have hair that will require brushing, maybe even the occasional spa treatment, Swedish massage, 24k gold facials...yeahhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry! I forgot you were here. In all seriousness, once I trust you, I will allow you to brush me out without much fuss. It doesn't need to be daily but I am a rough and tumble kinda gal and can use help keeping my locks flowing and free. I also shed so if I seem to be losing my girlish figure, it's probably just extra hair that needs to be brushed off. I hope you have a strong vacuum. ;) I could go on for days about myself, but I'll stop here. Don't wanna overwhelm you. If you think you are up for the challenge of a total spitfire like me, please feel free to send in an application and foster mommy can tell you more about all of the grandeur that is...CHLOE. Story
Princess Starbright is a mama’s girl. She chose me when she first came to my parents’ home after her breeders brought her over to meet her sister. The dogs got along until Princess went into heat and started fighting. I ended up taking her a few months later when I moved out. We lived together for a few years until I faced an unfortunate financial situation and needed to move back in with my parents. I have been searching for a foster since December 2025and haven’t had any luck and it’s a stress on everyone to keep the dogs apart. I’m making the difficult decision to rehome her while I still recover mentally that way she lives her life to the fullest. She prefers women to men but will open up. I think she was abused by a man as a puppy but food is the way to her heart. She is an adult now and is 5 turning 6 in October. She’s slow to warm up but meet her at where she’s at and she’ll come out of her shell in no time.

Story
I first adpoted Azula (6y/o, approx 30lb) when she was 6 months old from Monroe County Shelter in 2020. She was abandoned and hungry outside near there. Azula is a wonderful dog that listens, loves attention, and likes her person with her. She has all the energy in the world sometimes but also loves chilling on the couch being petted. Unfortunately, I work 12 hour shifts (sometimes more when on call) 30 minutes away and she has developed separation anxiety. She has developed whining when she first sees me, is bored, or when people are over and not getting enough attention. She is used to a 0.7 arce unfenced yard with oak trees. She loves to chasing squirrels up them and she also knows not to chase things past our property even if my back is turned. She turns and disengages on command even with scary dogs. She is also leash trained. Is neutered, microchiped, and has had more vaccinations than me. I am unsure about kids near her. Willing to answer any questions and do meet ups.
