Be honest, have you ever seen a happier gal?! My name is Emmie and things are finally starting to look up for me. Life on the streets was pretty lonely and uncertain. I didn`t have a place to call home or humans to call my family; I didn`t want to get close to anyone and always had my guard up. Coming to the shelter helped me tear down all of the walls I had spent months building; even I don`t recognize the dog I used to be. And now that I`ve healed myself, I`m ready to love you. My age is as golden as my coat and I`m looking for a quiet retirement home that never runs out of head scratches, keeps the treat jar full and tells me I`m beautiful every single day. I`m ok to share my home with a low key dogs or cats and hoping that you will make the rest of my life, the best of my life.
