Story
EMAIL DOGTRAILRIDES@GMAIL.COM TO MEET! This is a rare opportunity in rescue... Gloria, Alex, Michelle and the rest of the litter made the trip up from Texas in Mama Stella's belly when she was just a few days pregnant!! Stella was able to complete her pregnancy, give birth and raise her puppies in a loving home! Gloria is now 9 weeks old and ready to find her forever home. She is a beautiful tan color with dark black features and was born with a natural bobtail! She is just the sweetest little girl!! Her foster was able to do a DNA test (see pictures) and her mom is a very sweet, loving and petite 36 pounds, so Gloria will be a great medium size too. As an added bonus, the foster family has potty trained all the pups and they will use a pee pad in the house, but already prefer to go outside to do their business!! Gloria is a sweet girl who loves to cuddle her foster family, but also likes to play with her siblings and foster siblings. She loves to jump in the puppy pool and chew on a good hoof!! She also thinks his foster felines are pretty cool too!! She gets along well with other dogs and he loves people of all ages. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on August 15th and arrive on August 16th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 7/14/2025 Dog Name: Honey Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Chow Chow Mix  Approximate Age: 3 months Approximate Weight: 15-20 lbs Litter Name: Winnie The Pooh Duo Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet Spayed (too young) Description: This duo is adorable- beautiful fluffy coats and color with the sweetest personalities! They were very shy the first day but after knowing their rescuers would provide food and water they opened up and are showing their puppy love!  This litter has a very sad background, they were found roaming the streets and finding shelter in an abandoned shed! Witnesses say the litter was larger but unfortunately the Texas rescue team was only able to locate two puppies. They are still hoping to find any siblings they can. That being said, these puppies are so deserving and excited for the future. Puppy love is the best! Adoption Fee: $550 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. July 16, 2025, 11:31 pm

Story
Meet Jacque, a 3-year-old--50 pound, Resilient Chow Chow Seeking a Patient and Loving HomeJacque embodies many of the classic traits of his breed. He is a dignified and independent soul, with a calm and aloof nature that is characteristic of Chow Chows. While he may not be a boisterous, overly affectionate dog or a dog who will immediately shower strangers with affection, he forms deep and loyal bonds with those he trusts. His thick, beautiful coat will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.He would likely thrive in a calm and predictable household, ideally without young children, where he can be the center of his family`s world. Experience with the Chow Chow breed or similar independent breeds is a plus, but not a necessity for a dedicated owner willing to understand his unique personality. Introductions to any resident pets should be done slowly and carefully to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.Jacque recently tested positive for Lyme disease after being found as a stray. The great news is that he has already begun his treatment: a simple course of antibiotics. Lyme disease is not contagious to other pets or people in the home. Our staff will be happy to discuss his treatment plan and answer any questions you may have.Jacque came in as a stray, so he has an unknown history with cats, kids, and dogs. Adoption staff is happy to advise you on proper introductions to any new family members!Jacque will be neutered prior to adoption and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Jacque or our adoption process, please reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and book an appointment to meet with him today!
