Story
At 14 years young and 9 pounds of charm, Zorro is looking for a second chance at forever.
After years in a loving home, Zorro found himself back with us simply because he’s not the biggest fan of kids and their unpredictable energy—and honestly, can you blame him? He’s a senior gent who’s earned the right to peace, calm, and all the sunshine naps.
Zorro is a low-maintenance companion who thrives in a quiet, adult-only home with a single, experienced adopter. He’s incredibly affectionate with his person, happiest curled up on a lap or lounging in a sunny patch by your side. He adores treats (especially meat!), enjoys calm walks in the park, and melts for a gentle scratch or cuddle from someone he trusts.
While he does have a few quirks—like guarding high-value items or his chosen human—Zorro is clear in his communication, responsive to basic commands, and most importantly, eager to be understood. His perfect match will be someone who appreciates the loyalty and depth only a senior dog can offer, and who can provide the structure and awareness Zorro needs to feel safe and loved.
He’s not a fan of chaos, cold weather, or fast movements, but he’s a HUGE fan of you—if you’re the calm, patient type who sees the beauty in giving a senior dog the golden years he deserves.
💛 Zorro has so much love left to give. Let’s help him find the peaceful home he’s been dreaming of.
