These two adorable girls have officially joined Ruff Start Rescue and are settling into their temporary foster home while they prepare for their upcoming spay surgeries.
Ellie (approximately 7 lbs) and Pumpkin (approximately 20 lbs) are around 10 months old and full of life! They are playful, active, friendly, and absolutely love having fun. Both girls get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and respectful children. Because they can get excited and jump up when greeting people, we feel a home with children aged 5+ would be the best fit.
These sweethearts are NOT hypoallergenic and are looking for a family that can embrace their energetic, happy personalities. They would thrive in an active home where they can enjoy regular walks, playtime, training, and plenty of attention. They especially love playing with other dogs and would do best with canine companions who enjoy wrestling and romping as much as they do. Older, quieter dogs may find these girls a little overwhelming!
Ellie and Pumpkin do bark, so a detached home with a secure yard where they can run, play, and explore would be ideal. Most importantly, they would love to stay together. These best friends have spent their entire lives side by side, and we'd love to find a family willing to open their hearts and home to both of them.
These girls deserve a fun, active lifestyle where they'll be cherished, included in family adventures, and spoiled the way every rescue dog should be. ❤️
