Story
Nino was recently surrendered to us when his family was having to move for financial reasons and would not be allowed to take him along. He is a very sweet boy and is settling easily into his foster home. Nino LOVES all people including children and wants to be close to his human. He is also good with other dogs (cats unknown). Nino is almost 10 years old and is 12 lbs. Because Nino is not neutered he does sometimes mark (outside) but does not generally do it inside the home and we expect that the behavior will reduce after he is neutered (4/15). He also is trained to use pee pads. Nino is current on vaccines, and microchipped and will receive a full health check when he goes for neuter. Nino walks nicely on leash and does fine n a crate but also does not get into things that he shouldn't. He still has alot of pep in his step and likes toys. He can be vocal when he wants something so might not work well for an apartment or close living quarters. He does not jump on people or furniture and is also not a fan of being outside (will do his business and want right back in). Story
Jerome came to us from PACC and he has been getting healthier and feeling better in his foster home. He was diagnosed with valley fever but is responding well to treatment and no longer coughing. He is estimated at 4 years old and is around 13 lbs. Jerome is mostly housebroken and is learning the routine in his foster. He is really good with other dogs and seems to like having another friend to follow around. He is reserved with strangers but does warm fairly quickly and shows no nippiness. Jerome seems like a sensitive soul who has had some loss and sadness in his life. and would likely prefer a less chaotic household. Jerome does well in a crate and is very quiet so could likely work in a condo or apartment setting though would need work for pottying on a leash. Jerome is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Story
Ottis came to us from Yuma and will soon be ready for his very own forever. He had a mild case of kennel cough but is quickly recovering and has been showing off what an amazing soul he is. He is well mannered, affectionate and friendly with everything. Otis is 11-12 lbs, and 3 years old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Ottis does well in a crate but can also be reliable free roam in the home. He is doing well with the potty routine but of course will need to adjust to an adopters routine also. He walks nicely on a leash and does not seem to be much of a barker but we are still getting to know him and sometimes that takes time.
