Story
Seamus is loving and playful. At 1yo, he has plenty of puppy energy. He has separation anxiety and takes Fluoxetine and Trazodone in the evenings. Also, he is allergic to chicken, turkey, and beef. These proteins make him super itchy and cause him to break out in a rash all over his body. To help with the itch, he is prescribed Apoquel. We adopted Seamus last winter from Paws and Claws in Newton, IA. At 9 months old, he was a timid pup. With a lot of love and help from a canine behaviorist from Canine Craze, Seamus has gained confidence. He's a smart boy and is eager to please. We have made the difficult decision to rehome because our existing dog (Toy Poodle pictured) does not respond well to Seamus' playful energy. Seamus gets along well with dogs his size, our cat, and is interested in every critter he sees. He's also done well with our 7 yo granddaugher. His ideal home would include a fenced-in yard, a dog buddy, and a family that has time for walks and lots of play.
