Story
Gracie is a sweet, happy nine-month-old cockapoo who needs a family that can give her the time, structure, and attention she deserves. She isn’t fully house-trained yet, but she does bark when she needs to go outside. If you not paying close attention, you might miss her signal, so she needs someone willing to continue her training and consistency. She loves toys, bounce around, and bring all her energy to the moment. But she’s also a big cuddler. Gracie is a lap dog through and through. If you give her a belly rub, she will stay glued to you. She is affectionate, she gentle, and she loves being close. She truly is a little shadow who follows you everywhere. I got her from a breeder, healthy and well-socialized. The only reason she needs a new home is because my circumstances have changed. not working right now, things have been difficult, and no longer able to care for her the way she needs. She deserves stability, routine, and a family

Story
Bentley is 6 years old, turning 7 in April 2026. I got him when he was just 4 months old and he has been such a joy the last 6-7 years! He loves to cuddle and receive belly rubs. He is great with adults, but picks and chooses which kids he is friendly with (might be a dominance thing idk). He also gets along really well with other dogs inside the household. He is completely potty trained and loves to play fetch and tug and war with his toys! He is reactive to dogs/animals on walks. Does better with a fenced in yard. He is soooo sweet and does really well at the groomers. And he loves treats!

These pups are in Westminster, Maryland too!

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Sugar, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was happy, friendly, outgoing and affectionate. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. My name is Blue, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. The best home for me has people who have dog experience. I need a calm home with a fenced yard so I can run and play. I like riding in a car, but I am not fond of meeting other dogs when on a leash. I get scared and over react. I am not good at meeting strangers so I need an owner who can make the best decisions for me when people come to visit. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. My name is Pearl, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was friendly, calm and easy to hold. I was rescued from a puppy mill. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing.
