Ronnie was a gift for my 16th birthday. I can no longer home Ronnie due to my living conditions and my allergies. Ronnie is somewhat anxious but mostly playful. She’s a real goofball and is terrified of dark colors. Her favorite toy is dirty socks. My dream for Ronnie would be for her to live in a place where she can spend the majority of her time outside or on a farm because she loves hunting and exploring.

Story
This sweet little guy was found together with his friend Donatella following behind a volunteer and her husband while walking their dogs. They both followed them all the way to their house and were happy to be rescued off the streets. Gianni was very badly matted and was very dirty and appeared as if he was on the streets for a while. Gianni thinks he is a lap dog and will happily lay by your side or jump in your lap. He also will let you know when he wants something and can be vocal at times. He has been staying with Donatella and has been getting lots of love and attention from everyone. He weighs 23 pounds and is about 5 years old. Fenced yard needed for his safety.

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
