Hi There, My name is Ms. Apple Pie; I am a tri-color female said to be 5 years old, but the rescue vet says that I could be 5 to 7. She also said that it looks like I was a breeder dog at some point and I've had a few litters. I am an owner give up due to family issues. Vet exam showed that my ears were dirty and I would need a dental. I've had a dental and didn't lose any teeth, and I am now spayed plus they took a growth off. My ears have been treated but I guess I just have a bad infection that is taking time to go away. These folks will make sure that it is under control before I am adopted out. I am a real sweetheart, super friendly, easy going and I am now micro-chipped to CCR. I have been doing really well with the other dogs here at the rescue. I would love to spend quality time with you and be your new best friend. A dog social pal that would love an easy-going companion would be great. I have no history with cats or children. I came here really dirty like I had been kept outside so it felt really good when I got a bath and groomed. I would love a home with a fenced yard and spending quality time with you. After I get my final vetting done, I should be ready to be adopted the end of September. I will be a wonderful companion for you to love. Adoption Fee $400

Donations Needed for Vet Care -PayPal: larrydonnacarp@aol.com or checks to CCR, P.O. Box 1050, Kannapolis, NC 28081. No Phone Calls. We aren't taking applications until vetting needs are done. This girl was found as a stray, and her vet care has been very neglected. She has skin & coat issues, a cataract in one eye, hookworms, liver issues are high and she will need spay and a dental too. Luckily, she is heartworm negative and has no tick disease. Meet Mocha. She is a chocolate Cocker Spaniel girl about 3 to 4 years old. She was found as a stray up in the mountains by a man and his family 4 months ago. He took her to a vet to see if she was micro-chipped and she wasn't. Trying to see if someone was missing her, he kept her and finally decided to ask for help because they couldn't keep her. She is a very sweet girl, but we have learned that she is not good with other dogs. She is a bossy, dominate Cocker girl and will need to be an only dog in a new home when she can be adopted out. She will also need house training help and leash training. An appointment has been made for spay and dental and an eye care appointment has been made for late this month (October) to see if cataract vision can be restored. We are slowly working on getting her vet care needs done, but we need donations coming in right now to help pay her vet costs. Please be kind and help us get this dog healthy so that she can eventually be adopted into a loving home. See above on how to donate to her care. Mocha will not be available until all vetting needs have been addressed. No animal deserves to be neglected like she has been, please help us.
