Story
We have a transport leaving June 25th 2026 from where we are located in Southern California to NorCal, OR, and surrounding states as needed for our adopting families where we bring our dogs all the way to their homes 💗 For peace of mind we never ask for anything up front. The adoption fee along with your share of travel costs will be due the day we arrive in person ultimately finalizing the adoption then and there with you. We would love to add our boys to our trip for the right families 😊 Murphy, Waffles & Finnegen 🩵 Born 1/2/2026 Cockapoo Brothers Expected Adult Weight: Approximately 20-25 pounds. They boys are all around 15 lbs right now 🩵 There is something incredibly special about raising a litter of puppies, watching their little personalities unfold day by day. Murphy, Waffles, and Finnegen have spent the last 3 months growing up in our home, learning about the world around them, making friends with everyone they meet, and discovering that life is one big adventure waiting to be explored. Now these three handsome brothers are ready for the next chapter of their lives. While they have loved having each other to wrestle with, play with, and curl up beside at the end of the day, they are ready to begin their own journeys with families of their very own. We are not looking for a home for all three together. Each boy is confident, social, and ready to become someone’s best friend. These Cockapoo boys have inherited the beautiful hypoallergenic Poodle coat, so you won’t need to worry about shedding, and they are expected to mature to approximately 20 pounds full grown. Large enough to join you on life’s adventures, yet small enough to fit comfortably into almost any lifestyle, they truly are the best of both worlds. Murphy, Waffles, and Finnegen have received an exceptional start in life. They are current on their DA2PP vaccination series, including Parvo protection, as well as their Bordetella and Rabies vaccines. Each puppy has had a wonderful exam with our veterinarian, has completed fecal testing and deworming based on laboratory results, will be going home microchipped, and have received a health certificate to go home with them. Because they are still growing and developing, they will be adopted on neuter contracts to allow them the opportunity to reach full maturity before sterilization. These boys are wonderful with other dogs and cats. They are happy, social puppies who genuinely enjoy being part of a family. They absolutely love toys and can often be found proudly carrying one around the house as though they have somewhere important to be. They also share a hilarious obsession with water. Whether it’s a water bowl, a puddle, or anything else they can splash in, they are convinced water was put on this earth solely for their entertainment. If you’re not paying attention, they’ll happily empty a water bowl in record time while having the time of their lives. All three boys are crate trained and sleep peacefully through the night. They are doing wonderfully with their house training and currently go outside every two to three hours to use the restroom and enjoy time exploring the yard. They ride beautifully in the car and have spent plenty of time accompanying us around town, which has helped them develop into confident little companions who enjoy new experiences. They are also remarkably well mannered when it comes to grooming. Baths, brushing, blow drying, nail trims, and even having their teeth brushed are all things they handle with patience far beyond what you would expect from puppies their age. While these boys share many wonderful qualities, each has his own special spark. Murphy is the kind of dog who seems to wake up every morning believing it’s going to be the best day of his life. He approaches everything with enthusiasm, joy, and a wagging tail. Murphy has a happy-go-lucky personality that makes people smile instantly. He loves being involved in whatever is happening and never passes up an opportunity for fun. Whether he’s playing with a toy, exploring the yard, riding in the car, or snuggling up after a busy day, Murphy’s cheerful spirit shines through in everything he does. He has a way of bringing happiness wherever he goes. Waffles is pure sweetness wrapped in a fluffy little Cockapoo body. He has a gentle, affectionate nature that draws people in immediately. Waffles loves being close to his people and has a way of looking at you as though you’ve been his favorite person forever. He enjoys playing and being silly with his brothers, but he also has a softer side that makes him incredibly easy to love. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be your constant companion and shower you with affection, Waffles may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. Finnegen is curious, intelligent, and always ready for the next adventure. He loves exploring the world around him and approaches new experiences with confidence and excitement. Finnegen is the type of puppy who wants to know what you’re doing and whether he can help. His playful personality is balanced beautifully by his loving heart. He enjoys being with his people and thrives on attention, affection, and companionship. Finnegen is the perfect combination of brains, confidence, and devotion. Their adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of their adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/murphy-waffles-finnegen This fee helps cover their veterinary care, wellness examinations, health certificate, microchip, DA2PP vaccination series, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, fecal testing, completed deworming based on laboratory results, grooming expenses, and the months of care, socialization, and training we have personally invested into helping them become the wonderful young dogs they are today. These boys are not simply looking for homes. They are looking for families, adventures, couch cuddles, bedtime routines, and people to love for the rest of their lives. Falling in love will be inevitable. The difficult part will simply be deciding which one has been waiting for you all along. 🩵

Story
Meet Grandma Croissant! Grandma Croissant is a small senior dog with a long history behind her and a much softer chapter ahead. She came to us after being found tied up outside, with severely matted hair that suggested years of neglect. Thanks to a kind passerby, she is now safe and receiving the care she always deserved. She has since had a full veterinary workup. Grandma Croissant is both blind and deaf and based on her condition, she is estimated to be between 14 and 18 years old. Right now, she is adjusting to a life in a living foster home of warmth, soft bedding, and regular meals. She spends most of her time resting and benefits from a calm, predictable environment. Because she cannot see, a small and consistent space will help her safely learn her surroundings. She has really come out of her shell the last couple months and wags her tails and gives kisses, loves being pet and scratched and enjoys gentle sniff walks or a wagon ride.  Grandma Croissant is looking for a home that understands the needs of a super senior dog. She will require patience, gentle handling, and a commitment to keeping her comfortable. In return, she offers quiet companionship and the opportunity to provide dignity and care in her final stage of life. She may be a good fit for a variety of homes, as long as they can provide the time and stability she needs. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Croissant's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Grandma Croissant would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2711965##

We would love to add Winnie to our trip for the right family 😊 Winnie is a 1½ year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who weighs right around 10 pounds. She is full grown, naturally petite in stature, and has those long legs that seem to carry her effortlessly wherever life takes her. Her beautiful curly Poodle coat is soft as a cloud, completely hypoallergenic, and absolutely fluffs out into a gorgeous teddy bear look after a fresh grooming appointment. Winnie’s story is one we felt deserved to be shared because we know there is someone out there who is meant to be hers. When Winnie arrived in our care, she was suffering from double ear infections. One ear, in particular, showed signs of chronic untreated infections that had likely been causing discomfort for quite some time. Since joining us, she has been under the care of our veterinarian and has been receiving an array of antibiotics and steroid treatments. We have seen tremendous improvement, and while she is not completely healed yet, she is well on her way. We are committed to continuing her treatment until she is healthy and comfortable, and we know the right family will appreciate just how resilient and deserving this little girl truly is. What makes Winnie so special isn’t just her adorable appearance. It’s her heart. She genuinely loves everyone she meets. Children, adults, strangers, friends, it simply doesn’t matter. Winnie approaches life with an open heart and a gentle spirit. She does seem to have a particular fondness for men, which isn’t something we see every day, but her affection for women is just as strong. No matter who you are, if you have a heart ready to love and be loved, Winnie will be front and center, eager to return that love tenfold. She is house trained and will patiently stand by the back door when she needs to go outside. She doesn’t fuss or demand attention. She simply waits quietly for someone to notice her. Winnie is also crate trained and currently sleeps peacefully in her crate throughout the night. Truthfully, she’s not much of a morning person and would be perfectly content sleeping in while everyone else starts their day. If you enjoy slow mornings, coffee in hand, and a relaxed start to the day, Winnie will fit right in. She is leash trained and thoroughly enjoys her walks. Whether you’re strolling through the neighborhood or exploring somewhere new, she’s simply happy to be by your side. Winnie is the definition of a lap dog. If there’s an available lap, she would like to claim it. If you happen to stand up for a moment, don’t be surprised to find Winnie keeping your seat warm until you return. She loves being held, snuggled, and included in whatever her people are doing. She is wonderful at the groomer and genuinely enjoys being pampered. Spa days are among her favorite activities. She also rides beautifully in the car and is happy to accompany her family on adventures both big and small. Whether it’s a quick trip to the store or a long road trip, Winnie is simply grateful to be included. Perhaps one of the things we love most about Winnie is her temperament. She is not a barker. In fact, she is one of the calmest, most serene, and quiet dogs we have met in a very long time. She never feels overwhelming and never fades into the background. She simply has a peaceful presence about her. She’s the kind of companion who is content to share life exactly as it comes, whether that’s a busy day full of activity or a quiet afternoon curled up beside you. Winnie is the kind of dog who leaves a lasting imprint on your heart. The kind you’ll find yourself smiling about years from now because of the joy she brought into your life. She is truly a blessing, and after everything she has been through, she deserves a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Winnie will be spayed, current on her vaccinations, and microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/winnie-2 This includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, veterinary care, treatment of her ear infections, ongoing medications and follow-up care, as well as all of the love, care, socialization, training, and grooming she will have recieved while with us. We know her person is out there somewhere. We hope they find her soon. ❤️
