SWEETEST BOY EVER! Albert is most likely a Cockapoo. He has a lovely, soft, wavy coat with little to no shedding. This does mean he will require regular grooming to prevent matting. He is a super happy and playful dog who gets along with everyone and plays well with other dogs. He is pretty much house trained with frequent trips outside and puppy pads at night. Poor Albert came to us with an old bilateral fracture of his jaw which had healed crookedly on his right side and not healed properly on his left. He was found as a stray in Eagle Pass, TX and appeared to have had an accident with a vehicle. Recently, he had jaw surgery that placed a titanium plate on the left side to hold the two pieces of his jaw together so it could heal. He also had three teeth removed and his teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, the jaw was unable to be perfectly constructed but he still has a happy and charming smile. There are no problems with him using it and he carries stuffed toys and eats just fine. The picture of Albert in front of the Xmas tree, was when we rescued him last year. It shows how fractured his jaw was prior to his surgery. Please give Albert a chance for his best life with a forever family. We know that he is very grateful to be saved by our rescue. He shows it every day by being the "sweetest boy ever!!" Fenced yard. Austin, TX area adoptions only. Albert's adoption fee of $400.00 includes his vet visits, basic vaccinations, heartworm/tick tests, preventative, fecal test, wormer, dental cleaning, jaw surgery, neuter, microchip and grooming.

Meet Wingman, a white Poodle and Mixed Breed (Small) who is ready for a fresh start. He is one of three siblings with Winston, Drumstick. Wingman is about 11.4 pounds, about 2 years old. Drumstick came to Tracy’s Paws Rescue as an owner surrender and we are grateful to have him with us. Wingman’s record notes an excellent temperament with everyone, and he has a gentle, easygoing way about him. He is looking for a home that will keep things steady and give him the companionship he has earned. Wingman is heartworm negative and Chagas negative. Wingman is located in Hondo, Texas. Meet Curly!

Curly is a tenderhearted 1-year-old who weighs just 9 pounds. He is heartworm and Chagas negative... He is shy and I do not think people were very nice to him. He was found on the streets .... He doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body but makes us corner him to pick him up. He lets us love on him but he always has a worried look on his face. When we are outside with the dogs, he will hang back and watch us or come up and give a nose boop. He wants to trust... I feel he will thrive in a home that is quiet and less chaotic than the rescue. He needs a patient, kind human who will make him feel safe. Curley gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue. 

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Meet Shaggy! Shaggy is a cute little 9½-pound Chihuahua–Terrier mix who came to us from Laredo, Texas, where he had been living in a backyard with several other dogs and was covered in fleas and ticks. When he first arrived at Tracy’s Paws, Shaggy was understandably unsure of people. We don’t believe he had much handling in his previous life, and at first he would curl his lip and give us a bit of a stink-eye. But as the days passed and he realized he was safe, his true personality began to shine through. Underneath that cautious start is a very sweet, gentle little boy. Shaggy is about three to four years old. Because he needs a little time to warm up to new people, we are recommending a home without small children, where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace. The good news is that Shaggy is heartworm-negative and Chagas-negative, and he is more than ready to trade rescue life for a quiet home of his own. What Shaggy would love most is a soft lap, a patient heart, and a kind home where he can continue to blossom.
