SWEETEST BOY EVER! Albert is most likely a Cockapoo. He has a lovely, soft, wavy coat with little to no shedding. This does mean he will require regular grooming to prevent matting. He is a super happy and playful dog who gets along with everyone and plays well with other dogs. He is pretty much house trained with frequent trips outside and puppy pads at night. Poor Albert came to us with an old bilateral fracture of his jaw which had healed crookedly on his right side and not healed properly on his left. He was found as a stray in Eagle Pass, TX and appeared to have had an accident with a vehicle. Recently, he had jaw surgery that placed a titanium plate on the left side to hold the two pieces of his jaw together so it could heal. He also had three teeth removed and his teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, the jaw was unable to be perfectly constructed but he still has a happy and charming smile. There are no problems with him using it and he carries stuffed toys and eats just fine. The picture of Albert in front of the Xmas tree, was when we rescued him last year. It shows how fractured his jaw was prior to his surgery. Please give Albert a chance for his best life with a forever family. We know that he is very grateful to be saved by our rescue. He shows it every day by being the "sweetest boy ever!!" Fenced yard. Austin, TX area adoptions only. Albert's adoption fee of $400.00 includes his vet visits, basic vaccinations, heartworm/tick tests, preventative, fecal test, wormer, dental cleaning, jaw surgery, neuter, microchip and grooming.

Story
Cupid is highly energetic, loves to play fetch, is very intelligent and loves to be around his people. He loves squeaky toy balls, loves to run around and play with them. He really needs an experienced owner who can take on a dog with behavioral needs. He is great with cats. Unknown about children. He is house trained. He does have separation anxiety and he has lunged at and bitten a few times in four years, he did break skin. These instances were out of fear and resource guarding, they are never unprovoked. He is very friendly and playful all other times. He has had his puppy vaccinations but not currently up to date on vaccinations since taking him to the vet has been a challenge for owner who has new mobility issues and financial hardship. He is not spayed or microchipped. Otherwise healthy, no recent infections or concerns. He is matted and will need to be shaved down. He needs someone who can give him a second chance due owner not being able to care for him anymore unfortunately.
