Current Location: Red Lion, PA Meet this handsome Cockapoo boy! With his gorgeous all black coat, soulful eyes, and gentle personality, this sweet guy is ready to find a family to call his own. He has a calm nature and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle filled with companionship, walks, and plenty of love. He is house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on leash. His moderate energy level makes him an easy companion. He enjoys daily walks and spending time with his people, but he is equally happy relaxing at home. This lovable boy tends to bond most closely with women, though he is friendly and affectionate with the people he knows and trusts. He enjoys children and has many of the qualities families look for in a companion dog. Like many dogs, he has a few quirks. He is particularly interested in paper products such as tissues and paper towels and can become protective of them if he finds one. He has done well with verbal redirection and responds when reminded to leave them alone. Management and continued training will help him succeed, making older children a better fit for his future home. He would do well as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or with another calm canine companion who shares his easygoing style. This sweet Cockapoo is looking for a family that will appreciate his gentle heart, good manners, and loyal nature. In return, he will offer companionship, devotion, and plenty of happy moments for years to come.

Linus is a sweet senior with plenty of pep. When excitement strikes, he expresses it the best way he knows how: spinning in circles. His foster mom considers it one of his most endearing qualities, and it's easy to see why. Linus loves his foster dog siblings and enjoys playing with them and his favorite squeaky toys. He has found his voice in foster care, though he only chimes in when the other dogs are barking. He gets along well with cats, mostly just ignoring them. Before coming to Rescue Me WV, Linus's teeth were in rough shape. He had 9 removed after entering rescue and has 5 remaining, so he requires soft food and soft treats going forward. The good news: he is a great eater and already knows how to sit for treats. Now that his mouth has healed, his personality has really blossomed. At the end of the day, Linus is happiest curled up in a lap or snuggled close on the couch, though he also appreciates having his crate available when he wants a little quiet time. He is social, affectionate, and full of heart. If you are looking for a sweet companion who loves other dogs, enjoys a good squeaky toy, and will happily snuggle up beside you, Linus is ready to make up for lost time.

Jennie has an old soul with just enough spunk and sass to keep things interesting. She loves being close to her people and is happiest curled up on the sofa on a pile of blankets or sleeping in late beside you. Although her general preference is for lounging, she also has her moments. She'll occasionally zoom around the yard playing tag with a dog friend, and she's been known to sneak up on the chicken run just to watch the chickens fly. It's the little things. Jennie gets along well with other dogs, loves meal time, and takes treats with enthusiasm. She is mostly housebroken and would do best in a home without cats. She's looking for a cozy spot to call her own and someone who appreciates a good nap as much as she does.
