Cocker Spaniel

Scottsdale, AZ
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Hullo? Are you there? My name is Joe, I'm 13 years old, 19 lbs, and I am a handsome Cocker Spaniel. I have hearing loss, and cant really see, so lets work together on communication, because I already know that I absolutely want to be your boy! I was rescued from the county pound by the great folks at Forever Loved, because I really didn't have a chance at making it to the adoption floor there. Forever Loved saw the beautiful dog that was underneath a matted, stinky, ungroomed coat, and my terrible neglected ear infections and loss of vision didn't deter them at all. I've had my crummy teeth pulled, my ears thoroughly cleaned out, my hair cut, and a thorough vet visit, and I'm now on the search for that just-right home! My bloodwork came out great, but I will probably have to have ear and eye drops for the rest of my life. I love other dogs, I love everyone I've ever met, and I just love going for walks. Walking me on a harness makes it so easy for me to follow your gentle physical prompts and keeps me from bumping into pokey things, like cactus. In my new home, it will take me a bit to learn my space and where the potty spot is, but if you are patient, the wonderful folks at Forever Loved will teach you the best way to show me. Although they love me so much and adore me like crazy, I would really like my own home to spend the best of my life in. Could that be you???

Cocker Spaniel Labrador Retriever

Male, Senior
Mesa, AZ
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Initially got him with an ex bf when he was a puppy, ex boyfriend wasn’t nice to him and when we broke up my ex tried to keep him, I eventually got him back and have had him with me for the last 3 years but due to financial issues and my new busy schedule, I am unable to care for him and as he is getting older he’s starting to have more health issues that I am not able to get cared for and currently owe a vet for his care but I’m broke, he is about 10/11 years old and is wary of new people and dogs so it takes time for him to warm up, usually within a few hours to a day, he’s never bitten anyone but will snip if someone tries to grab him, it’s seems he’s losing bladder control and is having hip issues, I have been trying to find help but unfortunately animal shelters have just told me to rehome him

Cocker Spaniel

Male, Adult
Phoenix, AZ
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Not good with cats, House-trained,
King is 7 years old and his birthday is July 18, 2016. He enjoys cuddling on the couch and cooling himself on the tile. He enjoys walks and being outside but is not great on the leash. He gets very excited and has the tendency to pull while on the leash. He is house trained, if he has an accident he usually goes to the kitchen to conduct business. He eats solid dog food, if he is given human food it usually results in an accident of poop in the kitchen. He’s a laidback dog and will just enjoy being around you. He has a strong bark that will surprise you. He can get along with some dogs but he will need to be introduced to them slowly. He is good with kids about 5 years or older. He can be a little jealous of infants and toddlers, he has growled at my 1 1/2 year. Overall King is a very loving dog that needs a home that can give him all the love and attention he needs. He sheds a LOT. If that is something that bothers you, please scroll away.
