Squish is a 7-year-old cocker spaniel mix weighing about 40 lbs, and he truly lives up to his name in the sweetest way. Whenever someone enters his room, Squish happily gets up to greet them — all he really wants is love and attention. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up pets. Squish is currently very overweight and will need a dedicated adopter committed to helping him reach a healthier weight so he can feel better and enjoy life to the fullest. With patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement, Squish will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to support him on his wellness journey. His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Monte is an almost 5yr old terrier mix. He spent the last 4yrs with a family on a small farm. This 20 pound boy loves to run around with other friendly dogs, and man is he fast! He prefers to zoom around the yard rather than play fetch. He is good with other dogs, cats, poultry, and kids! However he is looking for a home where he doesn't have to compete for attention, and there are no kids or very mature kids. He is great on walks (no pulling!), loves car rides, and does good in stores. He has been off leash trained, although as his new owner you would need to build up a relationship with him first. He does become a barker once he settles in, but he may not if he is in a home with no other dogs. He has some energy but is mostly a calm guy who just wants to snuggle by you! He's crate trained and prefers that when left alone. He is also potty trained but has some potty anxiety; he likes to take his time and doesnt like to be watched lol. This boy is only being rehomed for personal reasons and due to no fault of his own.
