Story
Meet Brody! Hey, y'all, my name is Brody! I'm a sweet, senior gentleman weighing 34 pounds. You are about to fall in love with me just from words, and I can't say I'll blame you! I'm pretty much just an old man with all the love to give. I'm pretty perfect with everyone I have met; kids, dogs (even strange dogs at the dog park), and cats too! That's right, you can take me to the dog park and I'll be friendly to all. If you make sure to take me out to go potty on a regular schedule, I'll always go out there and won't have accidents inside. Though I will go in a crate, I'm not very fond of it, so I'd rather just not have to go in one. My perfect day consists of my family being with me because I don't really appreciate being left alone. A home with a retired family, maybe? I just love my people so much, I hate to see them leave! And I'm not afraid to voice my displeasure in it, so I should probably live somewhere that doesn't share walls with other families. As an old man, I don't hear too well anymore, but what do you need hearing for when you're as good of a boy as I am? I don't destroy things in the house, I only need to take some medicine for my old man joints, I like car rides and laying in my bed with a toy, or hanging out in the back yard with my bestie (humans and dogs)! I'm good at helping with yard work. I'm really good at staying by my people, but if I were to wander, I can't hear you call for me, so you'll have to watch me super good, or have a fenced yard, then I won't need to hear you. I'm looking for my forever people who are ready for the most handsome companion you could ever lay your eyes on! Are you ready to take me home so I can show you what it's like to be loved by me? *Brody is being fostered in Appleton, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. My name is Frances and I am the best boy! I was surrendered to Paddy's Paws, along with 11 other cocker spaniels, so that I could find a forever home through rescue. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lymes tested, and microchipped. I have a groom coming up as well and I cannot wait to show off my handsome self! I have an incredible personality and am great with other dogs. While I haven't lived with children, I would do well with older ones for sure. I am kennel trained and would love a home with another dog, or a human that will keep up with playdates. I am still learning the ways of living in a home, so I need patience with my house training. In short, I am amazing! Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
