Story
Hi... Im Briar Rose

Im an almost-2-year-old Cockapoo with a gentle heart and a thoughtful soul. I can be a little shy when we first meet-new people and new places sometimes feel big and overwhelming-but once I know Im safe&#44 my sweet personality quietly shines through.

Im looking for a calm&#44 patient home where I can take things at my own pace and learn that the world isnt such a scary place after all. A family who understands that confidence can bloom slowly would be perfect for me. With kindness&#44 routine&#44 and gentle socialization&#44 Im learning to be braver every day.

I get along well with polite&#44 mellow dogs who respect my space&#44 and I can happily share a home with older kids (5+) once Ive had time to get to know them. I may not be the life of the party&#44 but Im a wonderful listener&#44 a loyal companion&#44 and a cozy presence by your side.

Im a bit of an introvert... but introverts make some of the very best friends. If youre looking for a quiet&#44 loving companion to grow with and celebrate small victories together&#44 maybe Im the Briar Rose youve been waiting for.

Story
Koda is a very chill, wiggly, fun 2 yr old dog. Best with an adult who is an experienced dog owner. Koda does well with older kids and other dogs. Here are his challenges: He is very friendly, but only when he knows you. He gets overwhelmed with new people, and may growl at strangers if they approach quickly trying to pet him without letting him warm up first. We have also struggled to find the right combination of food or allergy meds to keep him from scratching his ears all the time, but have not found the right combo yet. It helps to clean his ears regularly. Here are his strengths: He loves to snuggle, he loves playing with his ball, and he is really silly and so cute. He would be a great dog for someone who has time to give him, and resources to get him groomed regularly because his breed does have allergies. Overall he is an incredibly loving dog, and would do well with another dog or kids if they hit it off. He would do best with another quiet/calm dog or on his own.

Story
Once he warms up, Tobias is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves playing fetch, snuggling, and staying close to his person. He’s still learning the joys of treats and how to appropriately play with other dogs. Tobias does well with female dogs but would prefer a home without male dogs. He is gentle around cats and does well with young children. Tobias has some separation anxiety and may bark when left alone, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day. With patience, consistency, and love, Tobias will make a loyal and devoted companion. If interested in learning more about Tobias, please submit an application at https://savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 14, 2025, 5:35 pm
