Story
Gus is a ten month old tan and white male Cocker Spaniel that weighs around 35 pounds. This smart fella is crate trained and potty trained. Gus is very high energy. He is still a baby, but he is full steam ahead with other dogs. He loves all dogs but he does not understand boundaries or testing the waters before entering another dogs personal space. Some dogs are ok with this, but some do not approve and have a less than great reaction. Gus likes people and kids but not little kids. He does not like them in his face or trying to take his toys (I mean who would, right?). So yes, this little man needs additional training and more positive life experiences to teach him the ways of being a good boy. Hes just young, packed with energy, and wanting to face life full force! Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
