Story
Meet Gunner — The Gentle, Shy Sweetheart!Gunner is a Spaniel/Beagle mix with a soft soul and a loving heart. He may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, he becomes one of the kindest, snuggliest boys around. Cuddles and treats are definitely the way to his heart! For treats, Gunner will show off all his manners — he can sit, shake, high‑five, and lie down like a pro. He loves playing with other dogs and is curious (in a good way!) about cats. Gunner truly enjoys being around people and loves being the center of attention once he feels comfortable. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and absolutely loves going for walks. Young kids make him nervous, so a calmer, older home would be the best fit for him.Why you’ll love Gunner:• Sweet, gentle, and very loving• Knows multiple commands• Enjoys other dogs and is cat‑curious• Potty and kennel trained• Loves cuddles, treats, and exploring on walksGunner is searching for a patient, loving forever home where he can feel safe and shine. Come meet him — he just might steal your heart.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chi Chi! Chi Chi is a 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel who truly lives up to the title of “perfect companion.” If you’re looking for a sweet, social, family-friendly dog, she checks all the boxes. She’s never met a stranger and absolutely adores kids, cats, and some other dogs. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a car ride adventure, Chi Chi is always ready to be right by your side. This affectionate girl’s favorite place is wherever you are. She loves going for walks just as much as she enjoys curling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, Chi Chi is happy to fill that role—she loves being close and involved in everything you do. Chi Chi does have a big personality to match her big heart. She can be a little dominant with other animals, so meet-and-greets with any current pets will be important to make sure everyone gets along. She’s also very attention-driven—she’ll happily jump up to say hello, paw at you when she wants love, and tends to stay right underfoot, so she’ll do best with a family that’s mindful of her enthusiasm and can help guide her with consistent boundaries. She’ll also need a home that’s careful with doors, as she may try to dart out if given the chance. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented dog who will be your constant companion and bring so much joy (and personality!) into your home, Chi Chi might be your perfect match. Heartworm: Negative Housetrained: Getting there. Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee/Donation: $500 Adoption Application Link: https://form.jotform.com/241517986810160 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.

Story
Just in time for the Kentucky Derby, our bets are placed on Lucy for Win! This sweet Brittany Spaniel/Wire Fox Terrier mix was found being dragged down the road by a much larger dog. She sustained wounds to the face and legs, but her saviors didn't let that keep her down. They rushed her to the vet to get her wounds cleaned out and fixed up. They searched long and hard for any owners, but no one came for her. She has spent the last month or so in their loving care, which has helped her heal and blossom into a playful, young teenager. She loves to chase a wiggle ball, play fetch, and snuggle with the best of them. She melts into your arms and holds your heart hostage. Lucy is resilient and sweet. She doesn't show any signs of trauma from her experience, and all she wants to do now is live her best life. She likes to run and chase, and she plays well with other dogs at doggy daycare. Now that she's all healed up, she is working on potty training and making good progress. Lucy's ideal family will be willing to continue her training and help her get her wiggles out. She would do well in an active home or continuing to attend daycare, where she can play and explore, and get all the best pictures. Can you give Lucy the love-filled furever home she deserves?
