Meet Yesi ❤️ Sweet, Loving, and Ready to Find Her Forever Family Breed: Cocker Spaniel Terrier Mix Gender: Female | Age: 09/05/2025 | Weight/Size: 20 lbs (Small-Medium) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: ❤️ Sweet | Loving | Friendly | Affectionate Medical: ✔️ Spayed | ✔️ Vaccinated Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Yesi is a beautiful one-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix weighing approximately 20 pounds. She is a sweet, loving young girl with a gentle personality and is ready to find a permanent family to call her own. Yesi is friendly with other dogs and good with children, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of families. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. At just one year old, Yesi is entering young adulthood. She still has plenty of youthful energy and curiosity, but she's beginning to move beyond the earliest puppy stage. This is a wonderful age for continuing her training, establishing household routines, and developing a strong lifelong bond with her new family. Yesi would love being included in everyday life—going for neighborhood walks, exploring new places, playing at home, and spending quiet time with the people she loves. As a Cocker Spaniel mix, Yesi may share many of the qualities associated with Spaniels. They are often affectionate, intelligent, playful, sensitive, and strongly people-oriented. They tend to thrive when they're included in family activities and receive plenty of companionship. Yesi would benefit from: Plenty of love and companionship Daily walks and regular exercise Interactive toys and playtime Positive-reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued socialization Consistent household routines Regular grooming and coat maintenance A safe indoor home where she's part of the family A lifelong commitment Cocker Spaniel-type coats can require regular brushing and grooming, particularly around areas prone to tangling. Their floppy ears should also be routinely checked and kept clean to help prevent irritation and ear problems. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At one year old, Yesi is still young and learning. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so her future family should be prepared to continue working on house training, leash manners, basic commands, boundaries, and household routines as needed. Even a friendly, confident dog can need time to adjust after adoption. Yesi should be allowed to become comfortable with her new people, surroundings, and routine without being rushed. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand her new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home Positive reinforcement, patience, praise, and consistency will help Yesi understand what is expected of her while strengthening the bond she develops with her new family. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Yesi is already spayed and vaccinated, giving her a great start toward a healthy adult life. Her future family should continue providing: Routine veterinary wellness examinations Recommended vaccinations and boosters Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention Routine dental care Regular ear checks and cleaning as recommended Regular brushing and professional grooming as needed Quality nutrition and healthy weight management Daily physical exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued positive-reinforcement training Veterinary treatment whenever illness or injury occurs A safe and comfortable indoor home At only one year old, Yesi has her whole adult life ahead of her. Adopting her means committing to providing the veterinary care, grooming, training, exercise, security, and companionship she needs throughout every stage of her life. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Yesi, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to helping deserving dogs find safe, loving, permanent homes. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we coordinate safe and reliable transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Yesi is young, sweet, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and ready to give her heart to a family of her own. At just one year old, she has a lifetime of love ahead of her—and she's waiting for the people who will love her just as much in return. ❤️September 6, 2026, 7:29 am

Story
Pebbles was surrendered to a large municipal shelter in Houston after spending years with her former family. After nearly 14 years, she suddenly had to start her life over.At 14 years old and just 15 pounds, this tiny girl has a whole lot of love packed into her little body. Despite everything she has been through, Pebbles is still the happiest little soul. She is bubbly, loving, and once she decides you are her person, that is it—she simply wants to be wherever you are. 🥰Pebbles is a true snuggler! She loves curling up right against her foster mom on the couch and will also happily settle near her foster sister, Ella. Whether she is snuggling beside you, going for a walk, or simply hanging out nearby, Pebbles is happiest when she is close to the people she loves.💊 Pebbles does have chronic dry eye and requires daily eye drops. Thankfully, she takes them like a champ without any fuss!Pebbles would love a home with a secure yard where she can do her adorable little zoomies and a person who enjoys giving affection and taking regular walks. She gets along just fine with other dogs, although she is much more interested in spending time with her people and finding the perfect spot beside them on the couch. 🐾She is potty trained, great on a leash, and has the cutest little underbite that gives her so much character.Pebbles has already been through so much change in her life, but she has not lost her sweetness or her spark. Now she just needs someone to give this affectionate little snuggler the loving home she has been waiting for! 🏡💌 Ready to adopt Pebbles? Story
Juda is a sweet 1 year old small boy who is all about love, playtime, and belly rubs. Give him a little attention and there’s a very good chance he’ll immediately roll over and ask you to rub that belly. 😂 Juda loves running and playing with other small dogs and would thrive in a home where he has friends to play with, children to love, or both! He has not been tested with large dogs yet. He is wonderful with kids and would probably be thrilled to eventually trade his kennel for sleeping beside one of his favorite humans at night. 💜 He is kennel trained and is still working on polishing up his indoor potty-training skills. He’s an expressive little guy who may bark when he gets excited or whine when he wants affection, but he is not an excessive barker. Cats may be a little more complicated. Juda likes to chase them when they run and may bark at them, so a cat-free home may be easiest. A confident, dog-savvy kitty who isn’t intimidated by his antics could potentially coexist with him with proper introductions. His dream home would have a secure fenced yard where he can zoom around, plenty of attention, and preferably children or another playful small dog to keep him company. And can we talk about that adorable curly tail?! 🥹 More than anything, Juda is an incredibly loving, loyal little dog who becomes deeply attached to the people who show him love. He’s ready to find his people and love them with everything he’s got. 🏡🐾
