Annie's been our girl since she was 6 months old, found alone under a shed in the rain. She's affectionate, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. She's great with other dogs (lived happily with our female, but tends to prefer males) and wonderful with adults. Like many cattle dogs, Annie is sensitive and can get anxious — it's her herding instinct. She thrives on routine, calm, and a patient owner who knows the breed. Her ideal home is adults-only, or one with grown, dog-savvy older kids. She isn't a fit for young children, despite professional training. She'd love a person or couple who appreciate a smart, loyal heeler and can give her a steady, loving home. If that's you, we'd love to talk — Annie has so much love to give.
