Story
**Meet Piper! 💜** Just like her namesake from *Charmed*, Piper is sweet, lovable, and impossible not to adore. At just 4–5 months old and 15 pounds of pure cuteness and wiggles, this Border Collie mix is ready to charm her way right into your heart. Piper has all the intelligence and personality you'd expect from a Border Collie, but with a more laid-back, easygoing attitude. She's goofy, playful, and always up for fun, but she also knows how to relax and enjoy a good nap. One of Piper's best qualities? She's fantastic with kids. She's spent months living with a busy toddler and remains completely unbothered by the chaos, noise, and constant activity. She takes it all in stride and has been an absolute rockstar family dog. Piper is fully crate trained and actually loves her crate—she'll happily go in on cue and settle down for some quiet time. She's about 85% potty trained and continues to make great progress every day. She's also wonderful with other dogs and has done great living alongside a cat. When it comes to affection, Piper has the perfect balance. She's a world-class snuggler when you're in the mood for cuddles, but she's also independent enough to be perfectly content relaxing on a dog bed or hanging out in her kennel nearby. We haven't started leash training yet simply because there haven't been enough hours in the day, but Piper is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She'll pick it up in no time with a little consistency and patience. Piper has spent her puppyhood waiting for a family to call her own. Now she's ready for her forever home—one that will appreciate her sweet nature, goofy personality, and endless capacity for love. Story
Frankie is a sweet puppy boy who is a foster favorite. He's everything you want in a dog: goofy, loving, playful, sweet, and cuddly! We think he's a border collie/bully breed mix, but whatever his mix is, it makes him perfect! A smart little guy, Frankie keeps his crate clean and does really well in the house. He loves chasing balls and wrestling with other dogs. This sweet puppy's greatest trait is that he loves his people. While his littermates take off when they come out of the crate, he immediately stays behind to give kisses and be petted. There's a heart dog in every litter, and Frankie is that dog. Frankie was born in December 2025 and found on a dirt road in January. He's fully vetted and ready to be your best snuggle buddy. Story
Meet Sheesh, a one-year-old pup whose unique personality perplexed her foster mom until she received the breed results — border collie and Labrador retriever!  Sheesh’s hobbies are all lab. She loves playing fetch and brings the ball back consistently.  Sheesh also loves water and will go towards any source of water, whether it’s coming from a sprinkler in the neighborhood or running in a creek. She loves being outside in the rain and isn’t afraid of getting all wet. She’s so calm and easy during baths that her foster mom still bathes her in the kitchen sink even though she’s much too big for it now at 45 lbs full grown.  The border collie in Sheesh is also very apparent in how intelligent and obedient she is. Sheesh follows instructions without the need for a treat. She’ll come when you call her name and go to her crate when told to. She’s very smart and learns new skills quickly. She also has some herding tendencies and can get very focused on things like a squirrel in the yard. She’s of course energetic, but does take plenty of naps throughout the day.  Sheesh will do best in an active home with owners who want to take her on long morning walks. Sheesh loves her walks, but she can get a little too excited by other excitable dogs she encounters. She will need someone willing to work with her on this, possibly with a trainer’s help. Sheesh is very redirectable and responsive if the person walking her knows what to do.  Sheesh has been in her foster home since July 2024 and is fully potty trained, crate trained and has zero separation anxiety. She’s super friendly, happy and loving, and is friends with all the dogs in her foster home. There’s not a mean bone in her body. She even shows remarkable patience with small puppies, letting them climb all over her and chew on her beautiful, fluffy tail. Although she’s not perfect, Sheesh is a special young dog who will bring great joy to her forever family.”

**Meet Prue! 🖤** Named after the strong and lovable character from *Charmed*, Prue is a 4-month-old Border Collie/Pittie mix with a personality that's just as magical as her name. This medium-sized girl is fun, playful, talkative, and absolutely adores people. In fact, if there's a human nearby, that's exactly where Prue wants to be! She's never met a stranger and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. Prue has spent the last two months in foster care alongside **7 other dogs and a cat**, and she's done wonderfully. She gets along great with other dogs and would thrive as either an only dog soaking up all the attention or as a playful addition to an existing pack. She's also done well with dog-savvy toddlers who can appreciate her enthusiastic puppy energy. Prue is crate trained, almost fully potty trained, and incredibly treat-motivated. She's eager to please, loves learning, and will be a dream to train for a family willing to invest a little time into her puppy education. At the end of the day, Prue's favorite thing isn't toys or treats—it's being with her people. She's ready to trade foster life for a forever home where she can be someone's best friend for years to come. Story
Meet Mia Bella – Your Adventure-Ready Best Friend! 🐾 If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active companion to be your sidekick in life, Mia Bella might just be your girl! This adventurous pup is always up for a good time — whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch (her absolute favorite!), or exploring somewhere new. Mia Bella is house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. She does well with children and would thrive with older kiddos who can match her playful energy. She gets along with other dogs as long as food isn’t involved, but truthfully, she would probably love being your one-and-only so she can soak up all the attention. (No cats for this girl.) Mia Bella would be the perfect companion for an active person who wants a loyal partner for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. When the fun winds down, she’s happy to relax by your side — especially if it means being close to her favorite human. She’s not just looking for a home… she’s looking for her BFF. Meet Katie — a 6-month-old possible Border Collie mix with puppy energy, a sweet soul, and a playful personality that keeps life fun. At around 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and supervising the household full-time. Katie was found tied to a tree in a busy area, but despite her rough start, she’s remained incredibly loving and gentle. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she knows she’s safe, she turns into a total affection addict who wants nonstop pets and attention. She loves chew toys, gets along great with other dogs and cats, and has fully embraced her self-appointed role of “cat herding specialist.” Katie is also doing wonderfully with crate training and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. Katie is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and give her the happy ending she deserves. In return, she’ll provide endless laughs, loyal companionship, and plenty of puppy entertainment.

Story
Annie's been our girl since she was 6 months old, found alone under a shed in the rain. She's affectionate, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. She's great with other dogs (lived happily with our female, but tends to prefer males) and wonderful with adults. Like many cattle dogs, Annie is sensitive and can get anxious — it's her herding instinct. She thrives on routine, calm, and a patient owner who knows the breed. Her ideal home is adults-only, or one with grown, dog-savvy older kids. She isn't a fit for young children, despite professional training. She'd love a person or couple who appreciate a smart, loyal heeler and can give her a steady, loving home. If that's you, we'd love to talk — Annie has so much love to give.

Bella 🐾 Meet Bella! 🐾 Bella is a 5–6 month old pup with a heart full of love and a personality that’s equal parts playful and cuddly. 💕 ✨ Fun Facts About Bella: 1. Potty trained — no accidents since day one! 🚽👏 2. The biggest cuddle bug 🛋️ 3. Loves car rides (as long as she can touch you) 🚗❤️ 4. Super playful, floppy, and full of puppy energy 🎾 5. Smart girl who already knows “sit” 🐾 Bella’s favorite things? Sunbathing after potty breaks 🌞, flopping down leash and all, and “talking” at her reflection with the cutest little howl-growl combo. 🐶 She’s had a tough start to life and can be timid with men and kids, but she is never aggressive. She does great hanging out in a bathroom with her bed and toys, but a crate makes her very anxious. She’s working hard on puppy manners like “sit before pets” and “sit before food,” and she takes direction well. Bella is both a couch potato and a playmate — she loves walks, playtime, and then snuggling close. She just wants to be loved, reassured, and never left behind again. 💙 🏡 Ideal Home: Bella would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and get plenty of affection, exercise, and continued training. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and love you endlessly, Bella is your girl. 🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel.
