Story
ADOPT ME! We are sad to announce that Chase from the Paw Patrol litter is back with ALDR, because his family did not think he was a good fit any longer. Handsome fella is now a year and a half old, about 80Ibs, incredibly sweet, but nervous around new friends and takes time to warm up. We are working on helping him build his confidence and helping him feel safe and loved! Chase is well behaved, crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash! He can sometimes be dog selective, so he would do best in a home without another dog or with a patient adopter who is willing to do a slow and proper introduction to be sure he will get along with any other furry friends. He doesn't seem to react to squirrels or cats while out and about in the neighborhood, but he has barked at his foster guinea pig brother, because he was a little scared of him. Chase is currently in a home with children and doing well, but may not do well with all children since his fear reactions can sometimes be intimidating. His ideal home would be with a family that is willing to give him time to adjust and reassure him he is safe and loved. He has also started professional training to help him manage his reactions when scared and we are recommending he continues to make sure he is set up for success. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org. ##1373323##

Story
PLEASE READ  BIO BEFORE EMAILING WITH ANY QUESTIONS AS WE TRY TO INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION THAT IS KNOWN.  WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WORKING FULL-TIME JOBS AND APOLOGIZE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE. Sophie is an 8 year old female mix breed that weighs 55 lbs.  She came into rescue after the passing of her owner.  She would do best as an only pet as she gets very anxious and possessive over toys.   She has been spayed, current on all vaccines including Rabies and Bordetella, heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. She has been on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  All dogs shed and most of our dogs are mix breeds and are not recommended for any person suffering with allergies. ADOPTION DONATION:  $200.00 ADOPTION PROCESS: ***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please.  Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type. 1.  Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.  It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application.  Please notify your vet's office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us. 2. Background checks, vet references and verification of home ownership will be conducted.  If we are considering a renter, landlords will be contacted to ensure breed mixture and size of dog is permitted and if a pet deposit is required.  3. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved to arrange a homevisit. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs and due to high volume apologize that we are unable to respond to everyone.May 3, 2024, 12:17 am
