Maxine is a sweet, petite little lady. She is estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old. She's 37 pounds and a complete sweetheart. Maxine was found as a stray and brought to our county shelter. No one came looking for her. Maxine has clearly had untreated skin issues on her back for quite some time, leaving her with rough skin and little hair. It's unknown if her hair will grow back, but it's possible with time and proper care and nutrition. Maxine is a very sweet and friendly girl. She's great with other dogs and all people. Cats are unknown. Maxine is such a happy go lucky girl. She loves to cuddle in bed or the couch, chew bones and she can be pretty frisky and cute. Our sweet Tucker is looking for his forever home. Tucker was surrendered after his family had a baby and no longer had proper time for his energy and activity level. He is 2 years and 3 months old. Tucker is an energetic and playful boy who will thrive with an active mom (or moms). Tucker does not like men and requires a female household. He also does not like boots. He is okay with some dogs, but is possessive over food and toys and will need patience when adapting to another dog in the household. He is non reactive on walks, it is only in the home where he is learning how to be with other pups.  He is a super smart boy who has been through training. He will thrive in the right environment and be your best bud forever!   ***Tucker has a bite history with men. He is okay with passing by them, but is still learning how to interact. PLEASE READ  BIO BEFORE EMAILING WITH ANY QUESTIONS AS WE TRY TO INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION THAT IS KNOWN.  WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WORKING FULL-TIME JOBS AND APOLOGIZE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE. Sophie is an 8 year old female mix breed that weighs 55 lbs.  She came into rescue after the passing of her owner.  She would do best as an only pet as she gets very anxious and possessive over toys.   She has been spayed, current on all vaccines including Rabies and Bordetella, heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. She has been on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  All dogs shed and most of our dogs are mix breeds and are not recommended for any person suffering with allergies. ADOPTION DONATION:  $200.00 ADOPTION PROCESS: ***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please.  Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type. 1.  Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.  It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application.  Please notify your vet's office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us. 2. Background checks, vet references and verification of home ownership will be conducted.  If we are considering a renter, landlords will be contacted to ensure breed mixture and size of dog is permitted and if a pet deposit is required.  3. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved to arrange a homevisit. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs and due to high volume apologize that we are unable to respond to everyone.May 3, 2024, 12:17 am

Zeus is a very friendly and energetic pal. He loves outdoor adventures and make new friends with other dogs. Zeus is very vocal when he plays and although may bark a lot, they're just invitations for dogs to come join him. Zeus might prefer people over dogs as he might say hi to the dog owners at the dog park first before playing with other dogs. Zeus needs patience as he might need some extended time to adjust to a new place. Zeus with do well with a house with a big yard as he needs to zoom around and release high puppy energy.
