Meet Elsa!This 35-pound bundle of joy has made a full recovery from a broken humerus and is now ready to leap into the heart of her forever family! At about 2 years old, Elsa is all fun, play, and personality.
Elsa does well with other dogs once she gets to know them, especially if they respect her space. She is not interested in playing with other dogs and prefers they leave her alone. She would much prefers human companionship once she gets to know you. She has a strong prey drive, though she appears to do well with cats in the home. One thing she absolutely cannot live without is her beloved toys.
Whether she’s chasing a stick like the champion retriever she is or curling up after a long day of fun, Elsa brings joy wherever she goes. She is 1000% Heeler in both personality and traits.
Elsa can be wary of new people at first and needs a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to adjust. Once she trusts you, she loves deeply and loyally for life. Because she takes time to settle in and feel secure, a calm, quieter home would suit her best. A busy household is not ideal, and homes with young children are not recommended.
